Overview

Hours: Monday - Friday, days starting at 9am. Hybrid schedule

Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Senior Project Manager provides project management for projects of significant organizational impact, scope, complexity and/or magnitude; this may include, but is not limited to, strategic initiatives, operational efficiency or improvement, process improvement, quality improvement, new system or process implementation, change management, and special projects. Manages project to achieve successful and satisfactory project deliverables and objectives. May direct resources and project contributors or teams that are internal and/or external. May manage multiple projects and project teams. This team exists to connect people, processes, and technology to ensure patients receive timely, coordinated, and efficient care across the perioperative continuum.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: Required: 7+ years of progressive experience.

Preferred:
  • Clinical & non-clinical hospital operations experience.
  • Expertise in healthcare information systems, EMRs, and enterprise application architecture.
  • Significant experience leading technology-enabled transformation initiatives within complex healthcare environments.
  • Advanced understanding of perioperative workflows and the interaction between clinical, operational, and technical systems.
  • Experience overseeing system implementations, integrations, optimization efforts, and governance structures across multiple departments.
  • Demonstrated ability to align technology solutions with organizational strategy, operational goals, and patient care objectives.
  • Strong partnership skills with executive leadership, clinical stakeholders, informatics teams, and Information Services.
  • Knowledge of interoperability, healthcare data standards, system integration methodologies, and enterprise architecture principles.
  • Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams through complex organizational and technology change.

Education/Licensure/Certification: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or other related field.

Pay Scale Information

$110,074.00-$188,698.00

About Children’s Hospital Los Angeles

Children's Hospital Los Angeles is a nationally ranked, freestanding acute care children's hospital in the East Hollywood district of Los Angeles, on Sunset Boulevard at the corner of Vermont Avenue. The hospital has been academically affiliated with the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California since 1932 and the hospital features 401 pediatric beds. The hospital provides comprehensive pediatric specialties and subspecialties to infants, children, teens, and young adults generally aged 0–21 throughout California and the west coast.
