Title: Senior Project Manager - Change and Improvement

Employee Working Location: Partially Virtual / Hybrid (Canada)

Employment Status: Temporary Full-Time (12 months)

In this role you will:
  • Define project objectives, scope, and execution roadmap in alignment with strategic goals.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and budgets, managing dependencies and critical paths.
  • Leads project execution or guides process in support of service lines or team accountable for program, ensuring deliverables meet scope, timeline, and financial targets.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks with proactive contingency planning and ensure timely issue resolution, escalating to leadership when necessary.
  • Manage scope changes, assess impacts, and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment, issue resolution, and decision-making.
  • Optimize resource allocation across multiple projects while balancing competing priorities.
  • Track and manage project budgets, forecast costs, and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Conduct post-mortems to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide leadership to project teams, offering guidance, coaching, and fostering a collaborative culture.
  • Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, project management standards, and organizational policies.
  • Continuously refine project management processes based on team and stakeholder feedback.
  • Provide regular project updates, including status reports and financial tracking.


What we are looking for:
  • Qualifications include a minimum of 6-9 years experience and a 3-year college diploma or university degree in project management, business administration or similar and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Project management institute (PMI) certification or equivalent is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing all phases of large-scale and complex projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in defining and executing on change management plans to ensure user adoption and sustainment of project outcomes
  • Advanced skills in project management tools and methodologies across the full project cycle.
  • Work experience and knowledge relevant to the project area.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint and project management
    information systems.
  • Ability to facilitate multiple stakeholders to achieve consensus, issue resolution, and decisions on complex issues with
    conflicting perspectives.
  • Ability to identify complex problems, analyze interrelated factors, assess and mitigate risks, and develop solutions using
    specialized skills.
  • Communication and influence skills to gather perspectives, understand needs, and present information to reach consensus, often in somewhat sensitive situations.
  • Ability to identify and assess potential risks that may affect project outcomes by developing risk mitigation strategies and
    contingency plans to minimize the impact of risks.
