Job Title: Senior Project Manager

The Opportunity:
Highly motivated and self-driven individual with a strong background in engineering, modeling & simulation (M&S), and naval engineering. Involvement with NMSO, focusing on plans, policy, and standards. Locations include Carderock and the Pentagon and other local locations. After initial startup period, work will be largely remote.

Responsibilities:
  • Capturing information from a wide network of folder trees, providing briefings, and addressing various engineering needs.
  • Quality control and assurance in engineering processes.
  • Outreach and engagement with stakeholders, though the role is not particularly customer-facing.


Qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelors Degree is Naval Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
  • Candidates will have 10+ years of experience working with Naval programs
  • Technical skills required in navarch, mechanical, ocean/marine, and aerospace engineering.
  • Proficiency in Confluence, Atlassian stack, Jira, Teams, and other collaboration tools.
  • Experience with project management tools, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
