Summary

We are seeking an execution-focused Customer Program Management Consultant to support our JDM contract programs. In this role, you will act as the operational bridge between Celestica's engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams and our external enterprise clients. You will oversee the contract lifecycle, establish robust program governance, manage approval workflows, and serve as a key advocate for customer satisfaction. This position requires advanced expertise in applying cross-functional solutions to complex project challenges.

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
  • Manage programs to achieve planned revenue & profits for large & complex customer accounts.
  • Supports account planning, strategy development & sales. Works with sales, business development, finance &; customer to understand customer needs & develop proposals to meet those needs & helps develop long-term agreements on processes, charges, etc.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional meetings with teams responsible for the day-to-day operations of customer accounts to ensure timely product deliveries and project milestones.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage complex projects, including MRP volumes, new product development support, and manufacturing readiness reviews.
  • Governance Frameworks: Establish integrated project plans and host regular program tracking meetings to ensure ongoing communication and status transparency with both internal teams and customers.
  • Data-Driven Reporting: Leverage database management and analytical skills to prepare performance reporting for monthly Operations Reviews and quarterly Customer Performance Reviews.
  • Contract Governance: Participate in contract negotiations and help develop long-term agreements regarding processes, charges, and service delivery.
  • SOW Proposal Strategy: Support account planning and strategy development, working cross-functionally to author proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs) that align with customer needs.
  • Compliance & Audit Readiness: Ensure all programs meet regulatory and internal compliance standards, coordinating remediation plans, approvals, and evidence collection as required.
  • Coordinates & hosts regular (as needed) program tracking meetings with the customer & internal account team members to ensure ongoing communication & up-to-date progress/status reporting occurs.
  • Develops plans to meet commitments & schedules for internal alignment on contract negotiations to meet customer deadlines. Develops action plans to correct out-of-plan conditions.
  • Participates heavily in the pricing/bid preparation process & contract development & mgt. Works with cost engineering, finance & SCM staff to coordinate efforts to analyze costs &
    price variances when necessary.
  • Communicates frequently with customers to help ensure satisfaction with the company & the products.
  • Solicits performance feedback & communicates information to internal teams and departments.


Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

  • In-depth knowledge and has advanced expertise of the manufacturing process, schedules and scheduling requirements, and SCM.
  • In-depth knowledge of infrastructure planning, including pricing, contracts, and contract negotiations.
  • Excellent presentation, database management and computer skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple, detailed projects to a successful end while working under tight time deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
  • Ability to effectively and independently lead and motivate a diverse group of employees to achieve high production within tight time deadlines.


Physical Demands

  • Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment or manufacturing floor
  • Likely there will be a significant amount of travel between customer and Celestica locations
  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
  • Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
  • Above demands are carried out within the local existing Health and Safety guidelines

Typical Education

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Professional Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly preferred to support the program management governance requirements of the role.
