Graham is actively recruiting for a Senior Project Manager supporting the Buildings Division. Reporting to the District Manager, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for delivering complex projects from estimate through close-out. This role brings together strong technical expertise, commercial acumen, and people leadership to drive safe, high-quality, and profitable project outcomes. As a key point of contact for clients and project teams, the Senior Project Manager builds strong relationships, leads multidisciplinary teams, and ensures project execution aligns with both business unit goals and overall corporate strategy.

Working closely with Construction Managers and senior superintendents, the Senior Project Manager provides hands-on leadership across subcontracted and self-perform scopes, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and craft needs are consistently met while supporting the successful delivery of high-impact building projects.

Your Role in Building What Matters - From Office to Site
  • Lead complex construction projects from estimate to close-out: providing full accountability for execution, schedule, cost, quality, safety, subcontracting, labour, and equipment across Level 2 and entry Level 3 projects
  • Own project financial performance, including cost reporting: forecasting, change management, progress invoicing, and margin management, while exercising delegated commercial authority and managing risk, claims, and disputes
  • Build, lead, and develop high-performing project teams: selecting key personnel, mentoring project managers and superintendents, setting clear expectations, and creating a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement
  • Manage client and stakeholder relationships, acting as a senior point of contact to resolve issues proactively, maintain strong partnerships, and ensure alignment with project objectives and broader business unit strategy
  • Champion health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) by leading safety culture, ensuring implementation of project-specific safety and quality programs, complying with regulatory requirements, and driving measurable HSEQ performance outcomes


The Right Tools for the Job

Education & Credentials: Technical trade certificate with extensive field and project management background; Engineering Degree or Technical Diploma preferred, along with formal leadership training and demonstrated proficiency using construction and project management systems

Experience: Minimum 8+ years of direct project management experience (project size, scope, and complexity dependent), with proven ability to lead complex Level 2 and entry Level 3 projects. Residential experience is considered a strong asset.

Skills & Technical Expertise: Advanced expertise in construction execution, financial and cost control, scheduling, subcontractor procurement, contract and change management, risk mitigation, and HSEQ, supported by strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Compensation
  • Salary Range $145,000 to $185,000 per annum
  • Compensation aligned to education and experience, ensuring fair and competitive placement
  • Three to five weeks of vacation, with additional credit for prior industry experience
