The OpportunityThe Senior Project Manager provides leadership and overall accountability for the successful execution of complex engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and startup projects within the energy and process industries. The role manages multidisciplinary teams across global locations and serves as the primary client interface for projects ranging from feasibility studies and FEED through EPC/EPCI execution and project closeout.
This position is responsible for delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual requirements while managing project risk, stakeholder alignment, and business performance.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & Execution - Lead medium to large capital projects from concept development through commissioning and startup.
- Direct multidisciplinary engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning teams.
- Develop and execute project management plans, schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and execution strategies.
- Establish project objectives, key performance indicators, and delivery milestones.
- Maintain accountability for project performance, profitability, quality, and client satisfaction.
Client & Stakeholder Management - Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, partners, contractors, suppliers, and internal leadership.
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with project stakeholders.
- Facilitate executive reviews, steering committee meetings, and client progress reviews.
- Support business development efforts, proposals, estimates, and project pursuits.
Risk & Interface Management - Lead project risk identification, mitigation planning, and contingency management.
- Manage internal and external interfaces across engineering disciplines, contractors, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and client organizations.
- Resolve complex technical, commercial, and execution challenges.
- Ensure effective change management and contractual compliance.
Engineering & Construction Oversight - Provide oversight of engineering design, procurement, fabrication, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup activities.
- Coordinate execution across domestic and international project teams.
- Review project deliverables for technical adequacy, constructability, operability, and maintainability.
- Support construction planning, field execution, vendor coordination, and startup readiness.
Commercial & Financial Management - Develop project budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, and resource plans.
- Monitor project financial performance and drive corrective actions when necessary.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and consultant contracts.
- Support contract negotiations and claims avoidance/resolution activities.
Safety & Quality Leadership - Champion a strong safety culture with a focus on incident prevention and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with company quality requirements, client standards, and applicable regulations.
- Promote continuous improvement and lessons learned across projects.
Preferred Project Experience Experience managing projects involving:
- Natural gas compression facilities and compressor stations.
- Gas processing and treating facilities.
- Pipelines, pump stations, metering facilities, and terminal infrastructure.
- Carbon capture, utilization, and sequestration (CCUS) developments.
- Petrochemical and process facilities.
- FEED, Detail Design, EPC, and EPCI project delivery.
- Brownfield modifications, debottlenecking, and expansion projects.
- International and multi-office project execution environments.
Preferred Qualifications- Master's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Experience managing FEED, EPC, or EPCI projects exceeding $100MM.
- Experience supporting project execution across multiple international locations and contractors.
- Ability to mentor project engineers, coordinators, and early-career project managers.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Minimum 15+ years of project management, engineering, construction, or project delivery experience within the energy industry.
- Demonstrated success leading large multidisciplinary teams and complex capital projects.
- Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling, cost management, risk management, procurement, and construction execution.
- Proven experience managing global project teams and client relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
