About the RoleChangeMakers is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead day-to-day management of the Corporate Brand project portfolio - from intake and prioritization through planning, resourcing, stakeholder coordination and final delivery. You'll be the central point of coordination keeping active work on track, while leadership retains ownership of strategic direction and competing business priorities.
This role begins as a 6-month contract, with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time position based on performance and business needs.What You'll DoProject & Portfolio Management- Manage the active Corporate Brand project portfolio and incoming requests, maintaining an overall view of priorities, deliverables, deadlines and status.
- Triage and assess incoming briefs for completeness, recommending prioritization based on agreed business and leadership priorities and flagging conflicts with existing workload or capacity.
- Support quality control throughout production, including proofreading, checking deliverables against approved briefs and identifying gaps before stakeholder review
- Assess and clarify incoming requests and translate approved briefs/strategic direction into actionable production briefs and project plans, defining scope, deliverables, milestones, timelines and dependencies
- Coordinate projects from intake through development, review, approval and final delivery, adjusting plans as priorities, deadlines or resources change.
- Establish review and approval requirements, coordinate review rounds, track outstanding approvals, and escalate unresolved creative, brand or strategic decisions.
- Identify project risks, blockers and dependencies; drive resolution where possible and escalate issues that fall outside normal project management.
Resourcing & Day-to-Day Support- Assign and coordinate work across writing and design resources, balancing workloads against project requirements, timelines and capacity.
- Identify resource gaps and raise them with leadership; manage approved vendors/freelancers and coordinate external production, printing or fulfillment requirements where applicable
- Support coordination between strategy, creative, production and stakeholder teams, and maintain an appropriate team coordination cadence to review priorities, workload, blockers and changing business needs
- Respond to new and unplanned requests, triaging urgent items and adjusting plans as circumstances change.
- Manage routine follow-ups and troubleshoot day-to-day operational and project issues, ensuring owners understand their actions and deadlines.
Stakeholder Management- Act as the central point of coordination for active Corporate Brand projects, working with stakeholders across practices, functions and leadership.
- Manage stakeholder expectations related to scope, timing, capacity and deliverables, including identifying when requests require reprioritization, additional resources or revised timelines
- Follow up on outstanding stakeholder inputs and decisions, and communicate project changes, risks and impacts as they arise.
Operations & Brand Continuity- Maintain relevant project administration, documentation and organized project folders and working files; Support budget tracking, approvals, invoicing and timesheet administration as required
- Ensure final assets and completed work are appropriately stored, accessible and reflected in project records.
- Maintain continuity across active Corporate Brand initiatives and support implementation and rollout of approved brand work.
- Use historical and contextual knowledge of projects, stakeholders, decisions and dependencies to maintain consistency and avoid unnecessary duplication.
- Set up and maintain project/job codes, project folders and required administrative records
What You Bring- 6+ years of project management / creative operations / account management experience within a marketing, communications or agency environment
- An understanding of creative project types and agency workflows, from brief to final delivery.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple active projects, stakeholders and deadlines at once.
- Sound judgment on when to resolve something directly versus escalate - this role manages projects end-to-end but relies on leadership for strategic direction and final calls on competing business priorities.
How This Role Is ScopedThis role owns the full operational life of a project - assessing and clarifying briefs, planning, resourcing, stakeholder coordination and delivery. It is not expected to set the underlying business strategy or direction where none has been provided, or to make final calls when multiple business priorities compete for limited resources; those decisions sit with leadership, translated into project plans and executed by this role.
SalaryThe Greater Toronto Area base salary range for this position is
$80,000- $100,000.Our salary ranges aredeterminedby job and level. Within the range, individual compensation isdeterminedby job-related skills and knowledge, relevant experience including professional and lived experience, and/or work location.
