Senior Project Management Analyst - Weapon Systems Acquisition & Program Analysis Full Time - Contract Dec 2026 (Contingent - Based on contract award) On-site Patuxent River, MD Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Program Analyst to support acquisition and program execution within NAVAIR's PMA-261 H-53 helicopter portfolio. The role supports major weapon-system and component development, including CH-53K capability delivery and CH-53E sustainment activities. The analyst helps align acquisition documentation, funding, schedules and contract deliverables with program priorities. Responsibilities • Perform DoD program management, technical and business analysis for H-53 acquisition, development and sustainment efforts. • Prepare, review and coordinate Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWSs), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and Procurement Initiation Documents (PIDs). • Maintain procurement actions and milestones in the Procurement Management Tool (PMT) and support funding visibility using the Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT). • Prepare and reconcile budget exhibits, spend-plan inputs and execution reports; identify funding or schedule discrepancies for government review. • Track contract deliverables, acquisition schedules and documentation status with PMA-261 IPTs, contracting personnel and business financial managers. • Develop briefings and recommendations that explain program performance, acquisition risks and impacts to capability delivery. Required Qualifications • MA or MS degree. • More than 10 years of experience performing program, project or management analysis duties relevant to this position. • Secret Clearance. Desired Qualifications • At least five years of demonstrated experience in DoD program management, technical analysis and/or business analysis. • Advanced proficiency in, or understanding of, major weapon systems and component development. • Demonstrated experience with PMT, acquisition documentation support (SOWs/PWSs), CDRLs, CSPT, PIDs, budget exhibits and schedules.
