Senior Project Engineer in Central Florida. This role can sit out of the Altamonte Springs, Orlando, Lakeland, or Tampa office.
This individual will support high-profile and alternative delivery transportation-market projects throughout Central Florida. This will require a seasoned leader capable of managing a large CEI team and complex transportation projects.
Your Impact- Participate as a member of the Consultant Construction Engineering and Inspection (CCEI) contract team
- Direct a highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection project/program
- Plan and organize the work of subordinate and staff members; develop and/or review project specific policies, methods, practices, and procedures
- Review programs for conformance with Client standards
- Identify and pursue future opportunities
- Responsible for developing and maintaining an excellent professional relationship with those organizations to facilitate both the successful completion of current ongoing projects and the successful pursuit of follow-on assignments
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs
Who You AreRequired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- State of Florida Registered Professional Engineer
- 12 years of Engineering experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
Certifications (must have or achieve within 3 months)
- CTQP Quality Control Manager (Pass Exam)
- FDOT Advanced MOT #LI-JR1
