JOB DESCRIPTION:Abbott Nutrition in Casa Grande, AZ is seeking a Project Engineer.

What You'll Work On- Lead full project lifecycle: initiation, design, construction, and closeout
- Develop and manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality metrics
- Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Quality, Maintenance) and external partners (architects, contractors, consultants, regulators)
- Prepare and review engineering designs, technical specifications, and construction documents
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses
- Ensure compliance with Abbott standards, FDA regulations, and environmental/permitting requirements
- Oversee construction activities, including site inspections and field issue resolution
- Track progress, maintain documentation, and communicate status to stakeholders
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and support capital planning efforts
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and operations
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical field
- 3-5 years of engineering/project management experience (capital or infrastructure projects)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera)
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and civil design software (e.g., Civil 3D)
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and project delivery
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of contract administration and procurement processes
- PMP certification (preferred)
- Understanding of Design Controls, GDP, cGMP, GAMP5, and FDA Computer Software Assurance

The base pay for this position is $61,300.00 - $122,700.00
