The Senior Project Engineer - Utilities Systems is responsible for leading capital projects focused on critical infrastructure and utility systems such as steam, compressed air, ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, and wastewater treatment.This on-site role supports plant reliability, energy efficiency, and regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement across production operations. Responsibilities- Lead the development and execution of capital projects related to utility systems, from concept through commissioning.
- Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, procurement, and validation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project goals and minimize operational disruptions.
- Provide technical support and conduct inspections for utility systems to inform project planning and risk mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with industry codes and regulations while maintaining detailed project documentation.
- Drive initiatives for energy efficiency, infrastructure optimization, and sustainability in alignment with corporate objectives.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- 10+ years of engineering experience in utilities, infrastructure, or manufacturing (food processing preferred).
- Strong knowledge of utility systems including ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, and wastewater treatment.
- Proficiency in project management tools, engineering software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks), and Microsoft Office Suite.
