We are seeking a Sr. Project Coordinator to join our Project Management Office (PMO) to support and manage projects directly related to the execution of Federal Partner agency mission activities. This role will provide project coordination, operational, and documentation support to PMO leadership and collaborate with internal teams and federal stakeholders to manage cost estimation, proposal reviews, project delivery, reporting, onboarding, and process improvement activities.
Support PMO leadership in coordinating activities and project operations directly related to the execution of Federal Partner agency mission objectives.
Collaborate with federal stakeholders and internal teams to support project delivery, issue tracking, and status reporting.
Create, maintain, and review project documentation, including proposals, cost estimates, burn reports, statements of work, and standard operating procedures.
Assist with onboarding new resources and coordinating team activities across internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports, monitor project activities, and help track action items, risks, and issues.
Support executive and client-facing reporting by consolidating updates and preparing clear, accurate communications.
Coordinate across teams such as Operations, Strategy, Contracts, Development, and Partner Services to support project needs.
Promote collaboration, organization, and process consistency across PMO activities.
Adapt quickly to shifting priorities, ensuring the team stays agile and responsive
Support the development and implementation of project management best practices and tools within the PMO
Manage and track project deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones and deliverables
Support additional PMO-related activities as assigned.
What You Will Need:
Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
Bachelor’s degree OR Additional FOUR (4) years of equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Minimum FOUR (4) years of project coordination, project management support, client support, or related experience.
Experience supporting project documentation, reporting, and operational processes.
Strong skills in Microsoft products. Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and SharePoint.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including experience developing or maintaining burn reports and tracking tools.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, track, and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal and customer support skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Experience creating or maintaining standard operating procedures and other process documentation.
Ability to support risk and issue tracking and follow established mitigation procedures.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification or equivalent.
Knowledge of federal grants management processes.
Experience working with federal clients, programs, or government-facing environments.
Experience supporting PMO functions in a consulting, federal, or mission-driven environment.
Experience with enterprise software platform tools (e.g., Jira, Salesforce).
