Job Summary:
The Senior Project Coordinator is responsible for strategic project planning, supporting portfolio governance, resource management, financial oversight, and executive reporting across a complex portfolio of engineering and technology initiatives. This role drives alignment between business objectives and project execution, ensuring effective governance, predictable delivery, financial accountability, and resource optimization across multiple programs and business units.
What You Will Do:
Portfolio Planning & Governance
Prepare for and support Engine Research & NTI Portfolio Obeya meetings - Financials & Deliverables
Conduct control meetings with project leads across 100+ projects.
Update and maintains Microsoft Project (MSP) plans for 100+ projects
Maintain and cycles the Path-To-Power/Engines STLF R&D portfolio consisting of 80+ projects.
Financial Management
Produce monthly BFA (Budget, Forecast, Actual) analysis and reporting for approximately $14M in portfolio spending.
Execute JET/RBM management activities across numerous charge numbers.
Update project budgets, forecasts, and labor allocations.
Revise charge number details, budget allocations, and PCI splits.
Resource Management
Manage Division 724 resource allocation using Power BI dashboards.
Support resource planning and workload balancing for both U.S. and U.K. teams.
Update project resource loading and staffing forecasts.
Deliverables & Reporting
Maintain the Path-To-Power/Engines STLF Deliverables Dashboard.
Prepare monthly NTI deliverable status reports.
Track project milestones and TRL deliverables.
Support governance reviews by generating portfolio status metrics and reports.
Project Administration
Maintain project schedules and planning data in MSP.
Coordinate project updates with project leads.
Process labor charging changes and project charge number administration.
Support portfolio reporting, dashboard updates, and project record maintenance.
Operational Coordination
Coordinate test cell planning and schedule reviews.
Maintain resource and project planning data used by leadership for decision making.
Generate recurring operational reports for portfolio reviews and management meetings.
What You Will Have:

Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
Demonstrated ability to manage large portfolios (>$10M) of concurrent projects, deliverables, schedules, resources, and financial commitments.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Expert level capability with Microsoft Project (Enterprise/Professional)
Experience with JET (and PAC2) budget forecasting system
Experience with Power BI dashboards and reporting tools
Experience working in engineering and product development environments
Experience with OBEYA, visual management, control meetings, dashboard development, and leadership review processes.
Background in Agile, Scrum, or structured project delivery methodologies.
Background in business processes like strategy development, budgeting, and systems support.
Summary Pay Range:
$97,530.00 - $146,290.00
