Full Job Description

Located in Madison, WI, you will support our Trachte facility. This facility leads in manufacturing meticulously engineered metal buildings for demanding industrial and commercial uses. WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Project setup and close out, revenue recognition, invoicing quality control, adherence to commercial requirements, and resolution of complex billing issues.
Work prioritization, billing system support, and billing data maintenance.
Complete month-end closing activities, including the accurate calculation of project revenue recognition, preparation of accruals, and GL tie out in compliance with US GAAP. (*may require small amount of work on weekend/holiday).
Coordinate financial audits, including project- and customer-based, internal, external.
Implement and maintain monthly invoicing, cashflow, and working capital forecasting process.
Lead process alignment, continuous improvement, and establish guidelines for Project Accounting activities.
Identify barriers and provide feedback on commercial terms to improve project cashflow performance globally.
Define, maintain, and ensure compliance with all financial policies, controls, and procedures.
Provide support to credit and collections to ensure timely receipt of cash and resolve invoicing and payment issues.
Work closely alongside Project Management, Engineering, and other departments.

YOU HAVE:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience, preferred.
3-5+ years of hands-on project accounting experience, preferably within construction, EPC, or project-based manufacturing environments, preferred.
Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, including experience with percentage-of-completion (POC) revenue recognition, preferred.
Demonstrated ownership of the full order-to-cash lifecycle, including project setup, billing, revenue recognition, accounts receivable, and month-end close, preferred.
Practical experience supporting or owning project billing, AR, and AP, and understanding how labor and inventory costs flow into project financials, preferred.
Strong proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel, preferred.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to collaborate across Project Management, Operations, and Engineering groups.
