Summary of Position:
The Senior Program Manager for Solutions Engineering Group (SEG) is responsible for driving the coordinated delivery of strategic programs across Presidio's AI Solutions portfolio. This senior individual contributor role partners with program leadership to plan, execute, and govern complex, multi-workstream initiatives that advance Presidio's AI capabilities and customer outcomes.
The Senior Program Manager works closely with the VP of Solutions Engineering, Engineering leads, Product Management, Field Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure program alignment, visibility, and value realization. This role translates strategic intent into executable program plans, manages interdependencies across teams, and ensures leadership has the insights needed to make informed decisions across the SEG portfolio.
Major Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain integrated program plans, roadmaps, and dependency maps across SEG strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate cross-functional execution across Solutions Engineering, Engineering, Product, Sales, and Marketing teams.
- Establish and run program governance including steering committees, executive reviews, and status reporting.
- Identify, escalate, and manage program-level risks, issues, and change requests.
- Partner with Finance and Product Management to track program budgets, ROI, and value realization metrics.
- Prepare executive-ready program updates, dashboards, and decision briefs for senior leadership.
- Drive program-level continuous improvement including retrospectives, lessons learned, and process enhancements.
- Coordinate program communications across stakeholders, ensuring clarity, alignment, and timely information flow.
- Support strategic planning cycles including annual planning, quarterly business reviews, and portfolio prioritization.
- Mentor and coach project managers and junior program staff across SEG to elevate delivery maturity.
Technology/Area of Specialization:
- Familiarity with program and portfolio management methodologies including Agile, SAFe, and hybrid delivery models.
- Familiarity with AI/ML solution delivery lifecycles and the unique governance needs of AI programs.
- Familiarity with strategic planning, portfolio prioritization, and investment governance frameworks.

- Exceptional organizational and planning skills; ability to manage complexity across multiple programs and stakeholders.

Required Skills:
- 8-12 years of experience in program or portfolio management, preferably in technology, AI/ML, or managed services environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-workstream programs with executive-level visibility.
- Proficiency with program management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Power BI, or equivalent.
- PMP, PgMP, or SAFe certification preferred; Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field - or equivalent experience.

Physical Requirements:
This role primarily involves working in an office or hybrid environment with extended periods of desk-based computer work. Travel is approximately 10%, primarily to Presidio sites for program reviews, stakeholder engagement, and team collaboration. Regular participation in virtual executive meetings and occasional on-site working sessions is expected.
