Full Job Description
Required to be in Nashville, TN.

OCI is transforming how engineering teams build, validate, and deliver software. Our CI/CD workflow orchestration and deployment systems are foundational to accelerating development iterations, reducing developer toil, and enabling automated deployment across OCI's dynamic worldwide footprint.

As a Program Manager, you will work closely with engineering teams to coordinate delivery and adoption of these capabilities. You will help turn evolving requirements into clear execution plans, make dependencies and risks visible, and support the safe expansion of agentic engineering workflows that preserve the safeguards, governance, and compliance standards OCI depends on.

Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of program management, project management, product operations, engineering operations, or related experience in a technical environment.
  • Experience coordinating software delivery, cloud infrastructure, developer tools, CI/CD, release engineering, or comparable technical programs.
  • Ability to work effectively with engineering teams and understand technical workflows, dependencies, operational risk, and delivery tradeoffs.
  • Demonstrated ability to create clear plans, track milestones and actions, communicate status, and bring stakeholders together to solve problems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with care for precise documentation and predictable follow-through.
  • A collaborative, data-informed approach to improving processes in fast-moving, cross-functional environments.

Preferred qualifications: Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus.
  • CI/CD, continuous integration, continuous delivery, developer productivity, workflow orchestration, or deployment automation.
  • Cloud-native environments, infrastructure-as-code, containers, GitOps, release engineering, or site reliability engineering.
  • Security and compliance controls, auditability, policy-as-code, or software supply-chain practices.
  • AI-assisted developer tools or agentic engineering workflows, especially where human oversight and guardrails are required.
  • OCI services or comparable large-scale public-cloud environments.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate delivery plans for CI/CD workflow orchestration and deployment-system initiatives, from early planning through rollout and operational handoff.
  • Partner with engineers, product managers, SREs, security, and compliance stakeholders to define milestones, dependencies, readiness criteria, and success measures.
  • Track execution across teams, identify delivery risks early, and drive practical follow-through on decisions, actions, and escalations.
  • Support programs that reduce manual developer work through reliable workflow automation, self-service capabilities, and consistent deployment practices.
  • Help operationalize safeguards for AI- and agent-assisted engineering, including appropriate approvals, auditability, policy controls, and compliance checkpoints.
  • Coordinate rollout and change-management activities across a geographically distributed OCI environment, incorporating reliability, rollback, and operational-readiness needs.
  • Use delivery and operational signals to improve team predictability, developer experience, deployment success rates, and continuous-improvement practices.
