This Program Manager role provides support to operational satellite ground systems, satellite operations centers (SOCs), and other support services program at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The organization's goal is to accelerate mission design and ground integration, launch and on-orbit operations, ground system tests, and rapid fielding to provide reliable, low-cost access to space in support of the warfighter. The LM team provides this support to the United States Space Force (USSF) and other Department of War offices being supported at the Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) Support Complex (RSC) at Kirtland Air Force Base.
The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for the overall program including the Task Order technical execution and working with functional partners to staff, plan and execute existing and future efforts. They will provide the organizational vision as well as tactical direction to ensure all efforts meet cost, schedule, and technical baselines.
Additionally, the Senior Program Manager will be responsible for capturing emerging work in the form of Task Orders in support of the USSF Customer.
The successful candidate should have experience executing technical, cost and schedule effort along with leading proposal development for continued program growth. The PM will reside onsite at Kirtland Air Force Base with the Customer and is the primary interface with the Government. Therefore, the position requires a strong communicator who has experience with both internal and external customers and comfortable engaging executive leadership.
This position is contingent upon program award expected by Nov. 2026.
Basic Qualifications
• Demonstrated leadership including building relationships with internal and external customers
• Experience interfacing with company executives, customers, and external agencies and partners
• Demonstrated program, capture, business, and/or contract management experience of the following:
- Cost, technical, schedule management
- Experience managing multiple Task Orders/projects simultaneously
- Proposal Development and Execution
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• TS/SCI clearance
Desired skills
• Bachelor's Degree with at least 10 or more years of sustainment, program management, operations, supply chain or related experience
• Business case development experience
• Full understanding of Sustainment strategy and operations responsibilities
• Process Optimization & Delivery Assurance
• Resolution of Complex Business Issues
• Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with Lifecycle Management, Materials Management, Depot Operations, Simulation and Training, and Logistics IT Sustainment preferred

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $157,800 - $278,185. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $181,400 - $314,525. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
