Summary:

In this role, you will lead the governance and intake processes for AI-enabled clinical technologies across the client ecosystem. You will coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, facilitate governance activities, maintain visibility into technology portfolios, and support the responsible adoption of AI-enabled medical devices and software. You will drive consistency, transparency, and operational excellence while partnering with clinical, technology, sourcing, compliance, and governance teams to ensure initiatives are appropriately reviewed before implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate intake and governance processes for AI-enabled medical device and software initiatives.
  • Classify, document, and route requests through appropriate governance pathways.
  • Maintain governance workflows, documentation, and system-of-record data to support portfolio visibility and accountability.
  • Facilitate governance councils, workgroups, and review committees by coordinating intake reviews, tracking decisions, and documenting outcomes.
  • Assess initiatives for governance requirements, risks, and review needs while coordinating engagement with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Serve as a liaison across clinical, technology, sourcing, compliance, Responsible AI, and governance teams to promote alignment prior to project execution.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and executive updates that communicate portfolio status, governance decisions, risks, and action items.
  • Partner with governance and compliance teams to support documentation, regulatory requirements, audit readiness, and enterprise governance practices.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance governance frameworks, intake processes, operating procedures, and stakeholder experience.
  • Provide consultation to sourcing teams on vendor evaluations, contract discussions, and AI-enabled technology adoption as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives in complex, matrixed healthcare organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and build alignment without direct authority.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting governance, portfolio management, risk management, compliance, or enterprise review processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply a working understanding of AI tools, outputs, and limitations to improve productivity, support decision-making, and critically evaluate AI-generated content while recognizing potential risks, limitations, and appropriate use cases.
  • Experience with AI-enabled technologies, healthcare software, medical devices, digital health, or clinical technology environments.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulatory, privacy, compliance, Responsible AI, or technology governance frameworks.
  • This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring three days per week in the office. Office locations include Irving, TX; Chicago, IL; and Centennial, CO.
  • Willingness to travel.


Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.
