Responsibilities

Full Job Description
Sayres is seeking a Senior Program Analyst to provide direct engineering and programmatic support to the PMS 300/325 Program/Assistant Program Manager (PAPM). This position requires a strong program execution experience person who can operate in a deputy program management capacity and effectively engage with Government leadership, shipbuilders, and cross-functional teams.

The selected candidate will work closely with program leadership to support daily operations, engineering coordination, action item management, presentation development, shipyard engagement, and executive-level communications across multiple shipbuilding efforts.

This role is expected to work onsite 5 days per week in support of Government customer requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering and programmatic support to PMS 325 program leadership across shipbuilding, modernization, and production efforts.
  • Serve as acting lead for weekly team meetings and day-to-day coordination activities in the absence of the PAPM.
  • Develop, review, edit, and coordinate executive-level briefings, presentations, reports, and technical documentation prior to submission to the Program Management Office (PMO).
  • Coordinate directly with Government personnel, shipbuilder representatives, technical teams, and program stakeholders to support program execution and issue resolution.
  • Respond to programmatic data calls, taskers, action items, and leadership inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support engineering reviews, program tracking efforts, risk discussions, schedule coordination, and status reporting activities.
  • Participate in shipyard visits and waterfront support activities to monitor production progress, coordinate technical efforts, and support leadership engagement.
  • Travel as required to shipbuilder and waterfront locations including:
    • Houma, LA
    • Mobile, AL
    • Pascagoula, MS
    • Gulfport, MS
  • Maintain proactive communication and coordination across Government and contractor teams to support program milestones, schedules, and operational objectives.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • 5-8 years of professional engineering and/or program management support experience supporting DoD, Navy, or shipbuilding programs.
  • Experience supporting Navy acquisition, shipbuilding, waterfront, or lifecycle management programs preferred.
  • Secret clearance or the ability to obtain.
