Full Job Description
Essential Functions:

Responsibilities for this role include but not limited to the following duties:
  • Provide expertise on the integration of Cyberspace with Information Operations and information-related capabilities; and, interface with DOD and Joint Staff to ensure Army cyber policy is in compliance with DOD and Joint policy.
  • Research and analyze Cyberspace/EW/IO concept plans and developing written recommendations on cyber-related areas including intelligence support to cyber operations
  • Investigate and provide written analysis on emerging technologies and the convergence of technologies and capabilities and its effect on cyberspace.
  • Research and monitor current and emerging cyber threats in order to identify trends and provide the Government with an assessment and recommendations.
  • Prepare briefings, information/decision papers, policy documents, staffing packages, letters, Execution Orders (EXORDS), memorandums and official multimedia correspondence related to Army cyber concepts, doctrine, and policy.
  • Lead in the coordination of the Army Cyberspace Council (ACyC) and General Officer Steering Committee (GOSC) Council of Colonels and working groups; and, provide requested input in the format of briefing slides prior to execution.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations for improvements to Army Cyber Strategy and Policy.
  • Coordinate with Army and Joint stakeholders to integrate Army unique requirements with joint requirements to meet cyberspace/EW/IO operational capability gaps.

Required Experience:

Candidates should meet the following requirements in order to be considered for this position;
  • Must have a Master's degree, with Ten (10) years' of relevant experience.
  • Always maintain the highest professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to interact with Senior Members of the Army Staff, to include the Executive Office of the Headquarters.
  • Mission oriented and requires minimal supervision in the fast paced, critical environment of the Army Headquarters.
  • Minimal travel requirements.
  • Must have the ability to work within Government provided software packages with emphasis on MS products, for example, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • TS/SCI clearance required at the time of hire.
