Full Job Description
SMX is looking for a highly motivated Senior Program Analyst with demonstrated experience to perform program analysis functions on Aircraft or Weapons Systems to support Naval Air Systems (NAVAIR) programs.

This position is 100% onsite in support of PMA 231 at Patuxent River Naval Air Station.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Development of TDs (Technical Directives), ECP (Engineering Change Proposals), and manage various GSSA engineering efforts
  • Perform functions/role within the Agile SAFe software development framework
  • Manage GSSA support for PMA engineering efforts to include the development, troubleshooting, and QA (Quality Assurance) validation of software loading procedures and software configurations.
  • Will require a technical understanding of aircraft equipment, ability to follow technical manuals, ability to identify redlines to loading instructions, and attention to details following technical instructions for installer/maintenance instructions
  • Perform programmatic analysis (planning, scheduling, workload analysis, risk analysis)
  • Work with project schedules, track tasking, and provide status to leadership and the PMA
  • Perform technical analysis and work with SMEs to solve problems
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams
  • Develop and present briefing slides

Required Skills & Experience
  • Clearance Required: Secret
    • Must be able to obtain Top Secret eligibility
  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience is required
    • A bachelor's degree in a technical field is desired
  • Experience with planning, scheduling, workload analysis, and risk analysis is required
  • Candidates must have prior DoD experience and familiarity with DoD Program Management
  • Familiarity with ECPs and technical direction

Desired Skills & Experience:
• Experience working with software or DoD platforms is desired
