The Role and What You'll Do:

The Live Event Production Sr. Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of live events, experiential activations, festivals, and brand experiences. This role manages production timelines, vendor coordination, onsite execution, staffing, budgets, onsite staff, and client communication to ensure events are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of live event production from pre-production through onsite execution and strike
  • Manage production schedules, logistics, labor, and vendor coordination
  • Lead onsite crews including production assistants, stagehands, freelancers, and technical teams
  • Coordinate fabrication, scenic, AV, lighting, power, rigging, and installation requirements
  • Ensure compliance with venue regulations, safety standards, and permitting requirements
  • Partner with internal teams, clients, agencies, and festival stakeholders throughout planning and execution
  • Track budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and production expenses
  • Conduct site visits, production meetings, and run-of-show reviews
  • Troubleshoot onsite challenges and provide quick solutions in high-pressure environments
  • Maintain detailed production documentation including schedules, staffing plans, and vendor contacts
  • Support load-in/load-out operations and inventory management
  • Ensure high-quality execution while maintaining strong client relationships

You Have These:

  • 4-7+ years of experience in live event production, experiential marketing, festivals, or entertainment production
  • Strong understanding of event logistics, staging, AV, scenic fabrication, and production operations
  • Experience managing crews, vendors, and multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, and weekends
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management software
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and solve problems quickly onsite
  • Up to 60% travel can be required

Preferred Experiences

  • Festival and large-scale event production experience
  • Brand activation and experiential marketing background
  • Knowledge of union labor coordination and venue operations

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods during event operations
