What You'll Do- Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
- Lead Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
- Support production equipment, tooling, and process development projects.
- Manage engineering changes, documentation, and production standards.
- Utilize CAD software for equipment and tooling design.
- Support automation, robotics, AGVs, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Production, and other departments to implement improvements.
- Lead or support project management activities from concept through implementation.
- Analyze production data and develop solutions to improve performance and reliability.
- Promote Toyota Production System (TPS), Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Just-In-Time principles.
QualificationsRequired- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred- Manufacturing or Production Engineering experience.
- Experience with automation, robotics, tooling, or assembly processes.
- CAD experience (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Project management experience.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPS, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing environments.
