Responsibilities
Own a product's design strategy, defining and maintaining the product's visual identity to ensure design consistency across user-facing digital interfaces. Design high-fidelity interface components, including icons, graphics, and User Interface (UI) layouts to meet brand aesthetics, as well as accessibility and usability objectives. Drive the product design process by creating detailed mockups, prototypes, and layouts to craft intuitive and visually compelling user experiences. Conduct independent design research and apply emerging design trends, styles, and creative approaches to enhance visual quality and elevate the overall product experience. Lead structured design reviews, gather cross-functional feedback, and iterate on designs to continuously improve visual appeal and the usability of the product. Partner with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, product managers, and engineers, to ensure visual designs align with user research findings and product performance goals. Mentor mid- and junior-level team members and share UI design best practices.
Qualifications
Qualifications Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Fine Art, Digital Art, Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, Industrial Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, and 4 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Fine Art, Digital Art, Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, Industrial Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, and 6 years of related work experience, out of which 5 years must be post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 4 years of experience in each of the following: Coordinating design team projects' responsibilities throughout the full design project lifecycle; Developing visual concepts, including generating ideas and sketches into visual concepts using Procreate or Boords, and transferring the hand drawings to digital graphics using Adobe Illustrator; Defining product requirements and optimizing product user experience (UX) by collecting user pain points, reviewing competitor analysis, and analyzing user needs; Working with front end engineers to build websites, landing pages, and H5 campaigns using Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or After Effects; and Facilitating design guidelines to improve product consistency and increase product brand awareness. The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $236288 - $360000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
