The Senior Specialist, Product Marketing leads the development and execution of assigned integrated product marketing initiatives that bring the Princess Cruises onboard experience to life across guest touchpoints. This role independently manages marketing projects and workstreams across key product areas, including food & beverage, entertainment, hotel operations, destinations and other onboard experiences, partnering closely with shoreside and shipboard teams.

Serving as a key cross-functional partner, the Senior Specialist translates product strategies, business priorities and operational requirements into clear, compelling guest communications and marketing solutions across onboard, digital and other relevant channels. The role leads assigned marketing workstreams supporting product launches, fleetwide initiatives and ongoing optimization of the guest experience, applying sound judgment to ensure communications are accurate, brand-aligned and effectively implemented across the fleet.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead assigned product marketing projects and onboard communication initiatives across food & beverage, entertainment, hotel operations, destinations and other onboard experiences. Translate product strategies, business priorities and operational requirements into actionable marketing briefs, messaging strategies and guest-facing communications across relevant channels, applying sound judgment to ensure alignment with brand standards and the intended guest experience.
  • Independently manage assigned projects from kickoff through implementation, establishing timelines, coordinating deliverables and guiding stakeholder reviews and approvals. Serve as a central point of coordination across internal teams and external partners, proactively identifying dependencies and risks, resolving day-to-day issues, recommending solutions and escalating significant business or operational concerns as appropriate to keep projects on track.
  • Lead assigned product marketing workstreams within go-to-market plans for new and enhanced onboard products and experiences. Translate approved strategies into actionable marketing requirements and coordinate messaging, creative assets, implementation needs and launch readiness across shoreside and shipboard teams to deliver a consistent guest experience across relevant touchpoints.
  • Manage the development, review and implementation of guest-facing marketing materials and onboard collateral across assigned initiatives. Partner with Creative Services and cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate content and creative against approved product requirements, brand standards and guest experience objectives, coordinating necessary revisions and ensuring assets are delivered according to established timelines and specifications.
  • Conduct regular audits of onboard, web, app and other guest-facing product content to identify inconsistencies, outdated information and opportunities to improve the guest experience. Independently assess findings, recommend appropriate updates and coordinate implementation across stakeholders. Conduct competitive research and support performance reporting and analysis to identify product marketing trends, communication opportunities and actionable recommendations for ongoing optimization.


Knowledge & Skills:
  • Scope: The Senior Specialist, Product Marketing independently manages assigned product marketing initiatives and workstreams from initial briefing through implementation, working closely with the Sr. Manager, Product Marketing and cross-functional partners across Brand, Creative Services, Hotel Operations, Food & Beverage, Entertainment, Destinations, Digital, Communications and shipboard teams. The role develops marketing and creative briefs, determines project requirements, coordinates deliverables, manages timelines and stakeholder feedback, and routes assets through appropriate review and approval processes. Within established brand and business guidelines, the Senior Specialist exercises independent judgment in managing day-to-day project decisions, prioritizing deliverables, identifying dependencies and potential roadblocks, recommending solutions and driving projects forward. The position regularly navigates multiple stakeholders, competing priorities and evolving operational requirements to ensure marketing initiatives are delivered accurately, consistently and on schedule. The role also identifies opportunities to improve guest-facing communication through ongoing audits of onboard collateral, web and app content, competitive research, asset management and other Product Marketing priorities.
  • Problem solving: Independently evaluates and resolves moderately complex product marketing and communication challenges across assigned initiatives, often involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities and evolving business or operational requirements. Uses experience, judgment and available data to identify root causes, assess options and recommend practical solutions within established brand and business guidelines. Anticipates project risks and dependencies, resolves day-to-day issues independently and escalates higher-impact decisions or issues when appropriate.
  • Impact: Makes independent operational decisions within established brand, product and business guidelines that directly affect the quality, accuracy, timing and execution of assigned product marketing initiatives and guest-facing communications. Decisions and recommendations may influence multiple cross-functional teams, guest touchpoints and fleetwide implementation. Exercises judgment in prioritizing work, evaluating marketing and communication needs, resolving project issues and recommending improvements, while escalating decisions with broader strategic, financial or operational implications to appropriate leadership.
  • Leadership: Provides project and workstream leadership across assigned product marketing initiatives without direct people-management responsibility. Serves as a trusted cross-functional partner and central point of coordination, guiding stakeholders toward aligned deliverables, timelines and implementation requirements. Influences outcomes through subject-matter knowledge, effective communication, collaboration and sound judgment, while proactively identifying needs, providing recommendations and helping resolve issues that could affect successful execution.

  • Minimum 5+ years marketing experience

Travel: Less than 25% with shipboard travel likely

Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

** This position is classified as "in-office." As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Princess office in Miami Monday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Fridays.
