Overview

Responsibilities

Atlassian’s platform connects work, teams, and data across the enterprise to power the next generation of intelligent tools, automation, and AI. As enterprise systems become more AI-driven, having a rich, connected platform layer is critical to making AI truly useful in complex organizational environments.

We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to lead adoption for our core platform data and context capabilities (Teamwork Graph). In this role, you will lead the end-to-end adoption journey, combining foundational product marketing (positioning, messaging, GTM strategy, and enablement) with a growth mindset to drive ongoing activation and deeper engagement across our customer base.

You will bridge the gap between technical and business audiences, helping developers, platform engineers, and data teams integrate and build on our platform, while enabling product leaders and business teams to realize measurable value.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Define and execute the adoption strategy: Own the positioning, go-to-market motions, and cross-functional programs that drive customer onboarding, activation, and ongoing platform usage.

  • Build credible narratives for diverse audiences: Translate complex platform, data, and AI concepts into clear value propositions tailored to technical audiences (engineers, architects, developers) as well as business decision-makers.

  • Drive full-funnel engagement and activation programs: Partner with Growth and Lifecycle Marketing to build and scale adoption initiatives, ranging from technical documentation and hands-on getting-started guides to customer stories, webinars, and in-product nudges.

  • Empower cross-functional teams: Collaborate with Product and Engineering to identify and reduce onboarding friction, while enabling Sales, Solution Engineering, and Customer Success with the tools, proof points, and collateral needed to drive field adoption.

  • Measure and iterate: Use product adoption signals, customer feedback, and engagement analytics to assess program impact and continually optimize adoption plays.

  • Evangelize the platform: Represent our platform narrative in external forums, customer briefings, webinars, and community channels.

  • Proven track record of developing positioning, GTM strategies, and adoption programs that drove measurable product activation and usage growth.

  • Demonstrated ability to market to both deeply technical audiences (developers, data engineers, platform teams) and business stakeholders.

  • Strong technical acumen and fluency in data concepts, APIs, and modern developer workflows.

  • Exceptional storytelling, writing, and communication skills, capable of turning complex architectural concepts into clear, actionable value.

  • Experience collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Growth, and Field teams to deliver shared adoption outcomes.

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using data and customer feedback to prioritize initiatives and measure business impact.

  • Comfort navigating ambiguity, driving cross-functional alignment, and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience with developer marketing, developer relations, or product-led growth (PLG) motions.
