HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACTAs a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Certifications, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping advance the goals of USGBC/GBCI. In this role, you'll lead end-to-end product marketing by defining positioning and go-to-market strategy, enabling global sales launches with core assets, building buyer personas, and running campaigns to drive revenue growth.
You'll report to the VP, Product Marketing and be part of a collaborative, cross-functional team environment where your contributions will help shape impactful outcomes. You'll work closely with teams like Product Management, Technical Development, and go-to-market with a primary focus on translating USGBC and GBCI's offerings into clear, differentiated value for a global real estate sector audience pursuing green building standards and certification.
Key Responsibilities- Architect Messaging and Strategy: Lead the development of high-impact positioning and go-to-market strategies, ensuring a cohesive narrative that aligns with USGBC/GBCI's comprehensive product portfolio
- Accelerate Field Success: Develop and maintain sales enablement assets that equip global sales and partner teams including pitch decks, one-pagers, battlecards, objection handling guides, and FAQs
- Execute Global Product Launches: Own the end-to-end creation of core GTM content including internal product guides, webinars, web narratives, regional-specific assets, and event presentations
- Establish Buyer Criteria and Personas: Develop a deep understanding of the Product's target audiences to inform messaging and positioning that resonates across specific buyer types, use cases, and regions
- Influence Product Evolution: Synthesize market trends, competitive intelligence, and voice of customer into actionable insights for Product Management, shaping the product's future to meet emerging customer and industry requirements.
- Impact Product Revenue: Develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition, growth, retention, and advocacy
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience - 6+ years of product marketing experience
Education- Bachelor's degree; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
Technology/System(s)- CRM & Analytics: Salesforce, Google Analytics, Looker
- Project Management: Asana, Smartsheet, Jira
- Content Creation: Figma, Canva, Notion, Microsoft 365
Skills- Current client-side experience in a global products organization with a minimum of $75M in annual revenues, preferably in the green building, commercial real estate, sustainability or renewables sectors
- Proven track record of bringing complex products to market with clear, compelling positioning for an enterprise audience
- Strong understanding of market analytics, data and modeling to inform product and go-to-market strategy
- Ability to build consensus and drive alignment across cross-functional teams
- Strategic thinking skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data
- Strong written and verbal communications skills, including effective presentation skills
- Passion and commitment to the USGBC/GBCI mission
