The Opportunity

The Senior Product Marketing Manager will own go-to-market (GTM) strategy and execution for DAT's Carrier segment portfolio, driving growth, adoption, and retention. You'll become the voice of the customer (VoC), deeply understanding market dynamics and advocating for carriers' needs across the business. This highly cross-functional role leads through influence, aligning Marketing, Sales, Product, and Finance to deliver measurable outcomes.

What You'll Do
  • Build data-driven demand generation strategies for target segments, products, and services to grow share, volume, and profitability.
  • Define clear goals and success metrics; plan and optimize campaigns based on analysis and insights.
  • Lead product positioning and messaging, including naming/branding, to differentiate the portfolio and inspire action.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Finance to develop integrated GTM plans that drive sustainable growth.
  • Own market research and competitive intelligence; establish KPIs and reporting to inform strategy and prioritization.
  • Drive launch readiness end-to-end with Product and Support, including testing, trials, and cross-functional enablement.
  • Partner across the organization to design and optimize customer journeys, triggers, and automations with relevant content to increase conversion, activation, and engagement.
  • Collaborate with Customer Marketing and Product on onboarding and retention strategies, including technology and resourcing recommendations.
  • Lead through influence: identify issues, surface opportunities, and drive decisions with business stakeholders, leaders, and technology partners.

The Skills and Experience You'll Bring
  • 7+ years SaaS product marketing experience (B2B; B2C a plus) with strategy-through-execution ownership and measurable success.
  • Track record of building effective sales enablement that highlights competitive advantages and accelerates wins.
  • Strong analytical acumen; use insights to inform differentiated positioning, monetization approaches, and product forecasts.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills; adept at stakeholder alignment across disciplines.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, structured problem solving, and customer-centric execution.
  • Passion for high-quality outcomes and continuous improvement; committed to professional growth for self and teams.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

For Oregon-based candidates, in compliance with Oregon's Pay Equity and Transparency Act (effective January 2024), the salary range for this role is $143,000 - $182,000. DAT considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education and training, core skills, internal equity, and market and business elements when extending an offer.
