Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
  • 3 years of experience as a product manager for auction, ranking or recommendations products.
  • Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.

Preferred qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience with ranking and relevance systems at scale.
  • Experience with A/B testing and experimentation.
  • Deep experience with data and experimentation and deduce product nuanced insights.
  • Strong understanding of AI/machine learning, information retrieval, and statistical concepts.
  • Familiarity with large-scale AI/ML, deep learning models, LLMs, data analysis.
  • Ability to work with executive leadership to drive alignment across business areas, and understand technical algorithms.

As a Senior Product Manager for YouTube Ads Quality, you will lead the goals and execution for how we match the right ad to the right user at the right time. You will own the core machine learning and ranking strategies that dictate ad delivery across YouTube's surfaces (In-Stream, Shorts, Feed). In this role, you will partner closely with executive Engineers, Data Scientists, and cross-functional leaders to evolve our auction dynamics and recommendation models.Google Ads is helping power the open internet with the best technology that connects and creates value for people, publishers, advertisers, and Google. We're made up of multiple teams, building Google's Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics.
