Summary:

We are seeking a Sr. Product Manager on the Westlaw product team to drive the transformation of legal research and litigation workflows with advanced AI technologies. In this role, you will leverage your deep subject matter expertise to collaborate with cross-functional teams, innovate user experiences, and integrate complex systems, ensuring our solutions are precise, compliant, and contextually relevant to industry standards.

About the Role

In this role as Sr. Product Manager, Westlaw, you will:

  • Utilize specialized knowledge and cutting-edge AI to develop and refine advanced systems, ensuring outputs are precise, compliant, and contextually relevant to industry standards.

  • Leverage deep subject matter expertise to collaborate with cross-functional teams in evaluating the feasibility and impact of new product ideas and enhancements.

  • Innovate and improve user experiences, drawing upon extensive expertise to boost productivity and satisfaction for customers.

  • Work closely with engineers and data scientists, providing expert insights to integrate complex systems, assess their performance, and make informed modifications.

  • Design and implement robust evaluation frameworks, applying subject matter expertise to ensure system outputs meet high-quality standards.

  • Establish automated testing procedures, using in-depth knowledge to maintain quality and consistency across large datasets and over time.

  • Engage with product segment professionals, industry leaders, and internal stakeholders, utilizing subject matter expertise to gather insights and validate product concepts effectively.

About You

Ideal candidates understand that AI is a pivotal advancement in human history and are fluent with the latest AI tools and techniques. You will have significant experience in the legal industry with substantial legal research involvement or substantial experience developing AI solutions for research or litigation workflows. A proven track record of successful and timely delivery against product roadmaps is essential.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. Eligible office location(s) for this role include one or more of the following: New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and/or Irvine, CA; McLean, VA; Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $137,900 USD - $256,100 USD. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $119,700 USD - $222,300 USD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
