The AWS Field Experience team is looking for a passionate, innovative, results-oriented Senior Technical Product Manager to define and drive the strategy and direction for services, making it simpler for our field team to manage, maintain and operate at scale. We will provide products and solutions that help give our talented selling and marketing teams "superpowers" that let them focus on the customer and helping them drive their business. We're handling massive scale, providing strategic data that drives the AWS business internally, and supporting one of the largest field sales organizations in the world.
As a Senior Technical Product Manager on the AFX team, you'll define the development of services for AWS sellers in Tech Roles, with a unique opportunity to spearhead generative AI initiatives that enable intelligent automation, insights generation, and scalable customer engagement. You'll be chartered with creating and operating new services that collect and store metrics at internet scale, deliver critical capabilities to the field, and embed operational knowledge and best practices into everything we do. As part of the broader AWS Sales and Marketing organization, you will also have the opportunity to influence the broader cloud strategy for AWS and potentially define future AWS products.
Key job responsibilities
- Engage with systems that are at the frontier of technology, pioneering new methods and approaches to delivering software, serving customers, and enabling large, distributed, worldwide sales teams.
- Design new products and capabilities that enable business users to operate more effectively, intelligently, and efficiently
- Work closely with engineering and other technical product/program managers to define, build, drive and measure mechanisms to enable our field sales teams
- Work directly with other product teams and business leaders to identify opportunities to improve AFX products, tools, data, analytics, and reporting offerings
- Leverage strong communication skills and a passion for using data and software to drive business decisions at scale
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
