Role descriptionThe RoleAs the Senior Product Manager and Retail Strategist, you are a retail transformation leader who brings deep experience building, deploying, and transforming large-scale retail solutions. UST is seeking a team leader who has earned credibility through firsthand delivery experience and a proven track record of driving retail transformation with comprehensive Retail ERP solution projects.
What You'll Do- Serve as senior functional leader and trusted advisor on re-platforming critical systems for one of the world's largest warehouse club retailers.
- Assist retail strategy and functional solution direction across merchandising, item/product management, inventory, replenishment, pricing, promotions, supply chain, warehouse operations, finance, and member/customer operations.
- Maintain an enterprise-wide view across workstreams - exposing dependencies, standardization opportunities, and shared capabilities.
- Drive unified, role-based user experience across retail platforms.
- Define future-state retail capabilities, business processes, and operating model implications.
- Facilitate executive forums, strategy sessions, and design workshops, and support organizational readiness and adoption.
- Bring an end-to-end perspective across merchandising, item and product management, inventory, replenishment, pricing, promotions, supply chain, warehouse operations, finance, and member or customer operations.
- Balance global consistency with practical market, functional, and operating needs.
- Use consultative selling, storytelling, facilitation, and negotiation to gain commitment to sound decisions.
What You Need- At least 12 years building, deploying, or transforming large-scale retail solutions, including leadership across multiple complex enterprise implementation as a Product leader.
- At least 5 years experience working within IT Consulting/Services provider
- Deep merchandising solution expertise with strong understanding of adjacent functions and integrations.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong consultative selling and presentation skills, with judgment to tailor messaging across audiences.
- Background: Product leader for a commercial retail solution provider, Retail SME, functional architect, or position leading major retail implementations.
- Retail IT consulting or systems integration leader accountable for enterprise-scale outcomes.
Location & CompensationCompensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Washington, US (Bellevue, WA preferred)
Compensation Range: $150,000-$210,000
