Full Job Description
Senior Product Manager Role

As a Senior Product Manager, you are expected to help drive the strategic direction for our pipeline offerings, and usher high-impact solutions from inception to commercial reality. This is a role for a technically-adept individual who thrives on solving the "impossible" through structured product thinking. You will spend your days at the intersection of the procedure room and the engineering lab. Your mission will be to help ensure our platform is capable, delightful, and accessible, in service of creating lasting value for every stakeholder in our ecosystem.

You
  • You are a builder who views ambiguity as a blank canvas rather than a roadblock.
  • You thrive in the high-velocity world of a startup.
  • You have an ability to "zoom out" to design high-level strategic frameworks and "zoom in" to ensure every detail is flawless.
  • You are a systems thinker by nature, and can build world-class work products from the ground up.
  • You are a proactive problem-solver who obsesses over the "why" as much as the "how".

What you'll do
  • Immerse yourself in the clinical context in which we operate, via conducting market analysis, customer and stakeholder interviews, ethnographic studies, and user testing
  • Develop deep clinical understanding of the clinical environments and procedures in which our platform is being used today - and will be used tomorrow
  • Become an expert on the product, allowing you to help define and refine the product roadmap, including effective upstream needs-finding, value proposition refinement, and feature set prioritization
  • Partner with commercial and engineering teams to translate user and business requirements into technical specifications, and managing trade offs during development
  • Define and track success metrics across entire product development lifecycle
Experience

We are looking for a technical product manager with a "founder" mindset.
  • You have 2 to 5+ years of Product Management experience or similar, ideally spent in the trenches with healthcare providers. If you've navigated the complexities of AI, robotics, medical imaging, or sophisticated software, you're already speaking our language.
  • You have a proven track record of collaborating with engineers and customers, translating high-level objectives into concrete technical realities.
  • High-EQ Leadership: You possess the emotional intelligence to build trust across diverse teams, from surgeons in the field to developers at HQ. You actively catalyze relationships and build rapport easily.
  • Strategic Autonomy: You are self-motivated and independent, with a sharp analytical mind that can dissect market data as easily as it can refine a value proposition.
  • Articulate Storyteller: Your written and verbal communication is top-tier. You can command a room during a presentation and simplify the complex in cloud-based collaboration tools.
  • Startup Versatility: You thrive in a small-team environment where no task is too big or too small. You're agile, adaptable, and ready to wear multiple hats.
The Logistics
  • This is a hybrid role, but because we build physical technology (robotics and hardware), a substantial on-site presence at Mendaera HQ is required to stay close to the innovation.
  • You should be ready to travel for user engagements, ensuring our products are tested and validated in the real-world environments where they matter most.
  • Compensation: The annual salary range for this role is $160,000 - $210,000.
