Senior Product Manager - POM / Federal Financial Services

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead product strategy, roadmap development, and execution for initiatives supporting a U.S. Treasury financial agent program. This is a high-visibility role within a fast-paced, evolving environment where the successful candidate will be expected to hit the ground running and drive initiatives from concept through implementation.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of product management experience, strong U.S. federal government and financial services experience, and the ability to work hands-on across business, technology, engineering, operations, cybersecurity, and vendor teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own product strategy, roadmap development, prioritization, and execution for complex platform initiatives.
  • Lead initiatives from discovery and requirements gathering through solution design, testing, implementation, and adoption.
  • Translate business and client needs into clearly defined product requirements and delivery plans.
  • Partner with technology, engineering, operations, cybersecurity, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions.
  • Manage product governance, change management, controls, compliance, risks, incidents, and performance metrics.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and other measures of product success.
  • Serve as a key liaison to clients, trustees, and senior leadership.
  • Communicate roadmap progress, risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs to executive stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement, modernization, and change across the platform.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of product management experience, preferably within financial services, government, or a complex enterprise environment.
  • U.S. federal government experience strongly preferred, particularly with the U.S. Treasury, Bureau of the Fiscal Service, federal financial agent programs, or other federal agencies.
  • Strong understanding of federal government operating models, security requirements, and protocols.
  • Banking or financial services experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated success leading products and complex initiatives from requirements through implementation and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/product delivery methodologies and experience working closely with technology and engineering teams.
  • Experience with requirements gathering, solution design, testing, vendor management, cybersecurity, or operations.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and executive presentation skills.
  • Jira and Confluence experience preferred.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree preferred.
