POSITION SUMMARY

Vistage is seeking a strategic growth leader to expand the reach and impact of our Leadership Development Programs, helping more CEOs build the leadership capacity their organizations need to grow. This role will uncover high-impact growth opportunities, translate customer and market insight into clear portfolio priorities, and lead cross-functional teams to increase adoption, participation, and retention.

Operating at the intersection of product, growth marketing, customer lifecycle, and community activation, this person will shape how priorities come to life by building the plans, systems, and partnerships needed to move opportunities from insight through implementation, optimization, and measurable growth across current and future Leadership Development offerings.

The portfolio includes leadership development programs delivered through peer advisory group experiences, not traditional software products. While software product experience can translate, this role is focused on strengthening the program experience and delivery, accelerating adoption, and driving sustainable growth. Growth depends on a connected community of Vistage Chairs, CEO and business-owner members, participating leaders, regional teams, and internal partners, and success requires understanding how each audience creates value for the others. This person will support, but not directly own, initiatives that help Vistage Chairs launch and grow Leadership Development groups, partnering with the Director of Products to provide insights, positioning, campaigns, tools, and activation strategies that accelerate program adoption and strengthen the Chair practice lifecycle.

DEFINING FIRST YEAR SUCCESS:
• Build and align the organization around a focused portfolio growth roadmap grounded in customer insight, market opportunity, and program performance.
• Create a repeatable launch and adoption system that improves stakeholder readiness, audience engagement, and post-launch learning.
• Increase qualified demand and CEO member sponsorship through stronger lifecycle, marketing campaigns, referral, and community activation strategies.
• Improve program quality and retention through scalable facilitation training, tools, and delivery systems for Vistage Chairs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Proactively identify and prioritize portfolio opportunities using customer feedback, participant outcomes, market trends, competitive insight, and performance data.
• Lead approved product enhancements, new-product pilots, and growth initiatives from planning through execution and evaluation.
• Own integrated rollout and adoption plans for enhancements and new offerings, creating clarity on stakeholders, readiness, timing, risks, responsibilities, and success measures.
• Manage execution through post-launch, monitor adoption and feedback, surface barriers early, and recommend course corrections.
• Partner with Communications on high-impact rollout strategies that connect product and business priorities to the right audiences, messages, and channels.
• Partner with Vistage Chairs to strengthen program facilitation skills and delivery systems that improve group quality, consistency, and retention.
• Build distinct lifecycle strategies for Vistage Chairs, CEO members, and program participants, addressing the unique actions and support each audience needs at every stage.
• Connect the three lifecycles so Chair adoption drives CEO sponsorship, participant enrollment and engagement, and ultimately stronger retention, referrals, and continued growth.
• Scale effective practices from high-performing Chairs, CEO sponsors, participants, and markets into repeatable systems and resources.
• Partner with Growth Marketing to drive demand among CEOs by shaping audience strategy, value propositions, campaigns, offers, and conversion journeys that connect Vistage Leadership Development Programs to their highest-priority business outcomes.
• Partner across functions to drive growth through referral programs and community activation campaigns spanning events, webinars, workshops, learning and development, member programs, and other high-impact channels.
• Build focused regional growth strategies informed by customer needs, Vistage Chair readiness, portfolio priorities, and local data.
• Evaluate campaign engagement, lead quality, conversion, and activation performance; scale what works and adjust quickly when results fall short.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Strategic growth leadership: sees the whole system, identifies high-leverage opportunities, sets direction, makes clear tradeoffs, and connects decisions to measurable business outcomes.
• Customer and market insight: combines qualitative and quantitative signals to understand customer behavior, uncover opportunities, and improve adoption, engagement, conversion, and retention.
• Product and program evolution: has improved an offering using customer and performance insight and can apply disciplined product thinking to programs and services, whether background is in software, services, education, memberships, or another product environment.
• Cross-functional execution: translates strategy into clear plans, aligns teams with different priorities, and leads complex initiatives from decision through measurable results.
• Proactive ownership and influence: anticipates needs, surfaces opportunities and risks early, brings structure to ambiguity, and keeps work moving without waiting for perfect information or direct authority.
• Experience in product growth, program growth, growth marketing, portfolio strategy, product marketing, customer lifecycle, customer experience, or a related discipline.
• Strong writing, facilitation, executive communication, and comfort operating in a complex, matrixed environment with imperfect information.
• Experience with leadership development, professional services, education, memberships, peer advisory, events, or other community-based offerings is preferred but not required. Software or technical product experience can translate when paired with strength in adoption, lifecycle growth, change management, or customer experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
