Full Job Description
About this role

Fulfillment is one of Faire's top long-term strategic bets that fundamentally changes how both brands and retailers do business. You'll play an instrumental role in scaling Faire's fulfillment business from 1% to 20%+ of GMV, working across the full problem space of brand supply, retailer demand, and unit economics to build the products and operational foundations that make Faire the best way for brands to fulfill wholesale and the most flexible, valuable way for retailers to stock their stores.

The product problems you'll tackle are both digital and physical in nature, spanning marketplace dynamics, operational systems, and program economics. You'll partner cross-functionally and with senior fulfillment leads to drive end-to-end execution and strategy on key workstreams touching brands, retailers, and operations.

We're looking for a product manager with deep empathy for how our customers' businesses actually work, relentless execution in ambiguous 01 environments, and the instinct to always connect what they're building to why it matters for the broader business.

What you'll do
  • Brand supply. Build onboarding, sales enablement, and operational tooling that makes it easier and more compelling for brands to fulfill through Faire, with a deep understanding of what it actually takes for a brand to change how they operate.
  • Retailer demand. Drive 50%+ growth to participating brands through Faire Source by closing the discovery, conversion, and cart experience gaps that hold retailers back from making it their primary way to buy.
  • Fulfillment experience. Build toward 90%+ of Faire-fulfilled orders being perfectly delivered, while identifying the net new levers that make fulfillment a genuine differentiator on both sides of the marketplace.
  • Unit economics. Partner with S&A and operations to generate leverage and halve the cost of fulfillment as we scale, from order batching and 3PL collaboration to brand consolidation.
  • Cross-functional execution. Work in close partnership with engineering, design, operations, GTM, finance, and data science to ship end-to-end - defining success metrics and communicating progress, tradeoffs, and decisions clearly across the org.

Qualifications
  • Business empathy. You understand how your customers' businesses actually work, not just their user flows. Fulfillment asks brands and retailers to make fundamental operational changes; you grasp those stakes and can navigate the marketplace tradeoffs when their interests intersect.
  • Cross-functional execution. You relentlessly chase down problems across eng, ops, design, analytics, and GTM. You earn trust quickly, lead without authority, and work in lockstep with a fast-moving team.
  • Systems thinking. You understand how your work fits into the broader puzzle. You don't build shopping experiences without thinking about unit economics, or build brand tooling without thinking about ops partnership.
  • Structured problem solving. You systematically break down hard problems and bring creativity and resourcefulness to finding durable solutions.
  • Analytical depth. You're fluent in business equations and experimental data. You go deeper than the first answer, whether that's 4what's the best way to rank products on this page4 or 4what's preventing brands from sending inventory correctly.4
  • Learning velocity. You thrive in fast-paced, 01 environments where the problem space is evolving. You get meaningfully better each month and grow alongside the problem space. You don't need to be told twice.
  • Communication. You synthesize complex tradeoffs clearly for stakeholders. You write well. You keep the team informed and aligned.
  • Alignment with Faire's mission and core values.

Salary Range

San Francisco: The pay range for this role is $188,000 - $258,500 per year.
