Full Job Description
Description:

As Senior Product Manager, Energy Management Software, you will define and implement the product strategy for a reusable energy service across the Siemens Asset Management Software portfolio.

You will connect building and infrastructure simulation models with utility bills, meter data, weather data, asset information, work history, and investment plans so customers can establish credible baselines, evaluate improvement scenarios, monitor actual performance, and demonstrate progress over time. Working across asset and work order management, investment and maintenance planning, engineering, services, sales, and customers, you will turn energy data into practical decisions that reduce operating costs, improve asset performance, support decarbonization goals, and strengthen long-term capital plans.

You'll make an impact by:
  • Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and measurable outcomes for reusable energy modeling, simulation, data management, and performance-tracking services across the AMS portfolio.
  • Discover and prioritize market problems by engaging energy managers, facility leaders, asset planners, maintenance teams, and sustainability partners, translating their needs into clear product requirements and investment decisions.
  • Deliver capabilities to create and calibrate energy models for buildings, facilities, infrastructure, and interconnected systems; compare scenarios; and quantify the financial, operational, and environmental effects of potential improvements.
  • Define scalable services for importing, validating, normalizing, and processing utility bills, interval meter data, weather data, and related energy information, including the data-quality controls needed for trustworthy reporting and analysis.
  • Connect modeled baselines and actual performance so customers can track consumption, costs, emissions, savings, anomalies, and progress against approved energy and capital plans.
  • Partner with product, engineering, architecture, data, design, services, sales, and external technology providers to embed energy insights into asset management, work order management, preventive maintenance, forecasting, budgeting, and investment planning workflows.

This is how you'll win us over:
  • Bring 5+ years of product management or closely related experience delivering B2B SaaS or enterprise software products, including responsibility for product strategy, discovery, roadmaps, requirements, launches, adoption, and measurable outcomes.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in product management, engineering, computer science, energy management, sustainability, or a related field, or possess equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of building energy modeling, simulation, utility bill management, metering, energy analytics, measurement and verification, or adjacent facilities and infrastructure domains.
  • Show strong data and integration fluency, including experience with APIs, data ingestion, validation, mapping, interval time-series data, reporting, and connections among enterprise asset management, building, utility, or planning systems.
  • Practice Extreme Ownership and Relentless Execution by defining clear outcomes, making evidence-based trade-offs, managing cross-product dependencies, and remaining accountable from customer problem through adoption and measured value.
  • Possess a Customer-Centric Focus, Insatiable Curiosity, and Clear Communication by engaging directly with users, testing assumptions, translating technical complexity into actionable direction, and building trust across technical, commercial, implementation, and executive team members.

You'll Thrive Even More If You Also Bring
  • Bring experience with enterprise asset management, computerized maintenance management, asset investment planning, facilities management, energy management, building automation, IoT, or sustainability software.
  • Bring familiarity with baseline calibration, weather normalization, energy-use intensity, tariff and cost analysis, carbon reporting, decarbonization planning, savings measurement, or system-level retrofit modeling.
  • Demonstrate Resourceful Problem-Solving when working with incomplete, inconsistent, or high-volume utility, meter, weather, asset, and facility data.
  • Show Grit and Resilience while remaining Composed Under Fire when priorities shift, integrations fail, data quality issues emerge, or customer-impacting decisions require a calm and pragmatic response.
  • Bring Empathetic Leadership and Infectious Enthusiasm that create shared purpose across globally distributed teams, invite constructive challenge, and build momentum for energy management as a reusable portfolio capability.
