OverviewWe are seeking a Manager-level Product professional to help scale a growing data and analytics platform supporting asset and investment management clients. This role sits at the intersection of product, data engineering, and client delivery, with a strong focus on requirements clarity, stakeholder partnership, and data-driven decision making.
You will work alongside a rapidly scaling team - including data engineers, analytics partners, and client stakeholders - helping translate business needs into clear, actionable product and data requirements.
This is a Boston-based role with a strong onsite client presence.
ResponsibilitiesProduct & Domain Partnership- Lead requirements elicitation and discovery sessions with business, operations, and client stakeholders across asset and investment management
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements
- Partner closely with data engineering and analytics teams to ensure requirements are well-understood and executable
- Act as a client-facing product representative, able to communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Support conversations around foundational investment concepts, and should have broad knowledge of:
- Instrument types (Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives)
- Corporate actions
- Trade lifecycle and trader workflows
- Portfolio Construction workflow
- Accounting
Agile Delivery & Team Collaboration- Own and groom the product backlog in close partnership with delivery leads
- Facilitate or actively participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
- Coordinate work across multiple teams (data engineering, QA, analytics)
- Track dependencies, risks, and progress - communicating clearly with stakeholders and leadership
- Operate with a self-directed mindset - comfortable driving work forward without heavy oversight
Data & Technical Collaboration- Write and review SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation, and analysis (hands-on expectation)
- Partner with engineers on Python-based workflows for data pipelines and analytics use cases
- Contribute to or review BI dashboards and visualizations (Power BI)
- Direct experience is helpful
- Willingness to ramp quickly is essential
- Work within modern cloud data platforms, with current focus on Microsoft Fabric
QualificationsRequired Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, or similar roles within asset management or financial services
- Strong understanding of investment management workflows across front, middle, and back office
- Comfortable with breadth over depth - able to discuss investment concepts clearly without needing deep specialization in one niche
- Proven strength in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and client-facing communication
- Strong SQL skills with expectation of hands-on query writing
- Working knowledge of Python
- Experience participating in agile product or delivery environments
- Highly collaborative, organized, and able to work across multiple teams simultaneously
Preferred (Nice to Have)- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar cloud data platforms
- BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Exposure to AI-enabled tooling or data products
- Familiarity with agile tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps
- Prior experience supporting or delivering for asset managers

Additional informationPay Range: $134,000-$201,000
The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work.
