Are you passionate about turning complex research into digital products that create real-world impact? Do you enjoy partnering with business and technology teams to shape product strategy from concept through delivery? Are you excited by the opportunity to use emerging AI capabilities to enhance how people discover, engage with, and apply knowledge?
CFA Institute is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help shape the digital future of our Research & Policy Center (RPC). In this role, you will translate research, policy and standards priorities into scalable digital products that support our "Foresight to Influence" vision. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand complex problems, define product requirements, prioritise delivery and guide cross-functional teams to build solutions that deliver measurable value.
You'll own product roadmaps, influence strategy, and help introduce AI-enabled approaches that improve how product artefacts are created and how users experience our digital platforms. This is an opportunity to work across research, policy and standards while partnering with engineering and business leaders to deliver products that advance CFA Institute's mission.
What You'll Do
Partner with research, policy and business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into clear product requirements.
Own and maintain product roadmaps, ensuring priorities align with business needs and long-term strategy.
Act as the bridge between business and engineering teams, communicating priorities, timelines and expected outcomes.
Lead product delivery from discovery through implementation using Agile product management practices.
Create and manage product requirements, user stories and supporting documentation.
Ensure products are delivered against agreed objectives, timelines and performance expectations.
Drive continuous improvement by measuring product performance and refining priorities based on insights.
Explore opportunities to leverage AI tools to improve product management processes, documentation and decision-making.
Support digital products across the Research & Policy Center portfolio, including elements of the Codes and Standards product portfolio.
Provide leadership across projects, with the opportunity to oversee contractors supporting key initiatives and potentially grow into future people leadership responsibilities.
What We're Looking For
Demonstrable experience leading digital products through the full product lifecycle within a product management environment.
Experience working with research-focused organisations, research products, or complex research-driven environments.
Proven ability to translate business problems into clear product requirements and work effectively between business stakeholders and engineering teams.
Strong product roadmap ownership and prioritisation experience.
Experience applying Agile methodologies, including backlog management, user stories and iterative delivery.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across cross-functional teams.
Experience delivering complex digital platforms or applications.
An analytical mindset with the ability to understand user needs and define measurable product outcomes.
Interest in applying AI tools and emerging technologies within product management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Why Join Us
Help shape digital products that support globally recognised research, policy and professional standards.
Influence product strategy across a growing portfolio with significant visibility across the organisation.
Work closely with research, engineering and business leaders on meaningful, mission-driven initiatives.
Play a key role in expanding the use of AI and modern product practices across the portfolio.
Join a flexible, largely remote team with opportunities for in-person collaboration when needed.
