Senior Product Development Owner - Cash Services (Hybrid - Columbia, SC)

The Senior Product Development Owner, Cash Services drives strategic product initiatives for the Cash Services & Billing applications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The role combines leadership in product strategy, delivery execution, and stakeholder engagement to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions for processes related to ACH, lockbox, sweep, loan payments/advances/billing.

What you'll do

Product Strategy & Roadmap
  • Define and maintain product vision aligned with organizational goals.
  • Translate business needs into prioritized features and outcomes.
  • Balance short-term delivery with long-term strategic objectives.
  • Communicate roadmap and progress to stakeholders.

Delivery & Execution
  • Lead backlog refinement and sprint planning to ensure clear, actionable work.
  • Validate requirements and oversee testing for quality and compliance.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams for the timely delivery of product increments.
  • Monitor product performance and recommend improvements.

Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
  • Act as primary liaison between business and technology teams.
  • Gather and synthesize feedback to inform product decisions.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Manage communication and expectations across stakeholders.

Other Duties as Assigned
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned, which may include specific projects or tasks.
  • Participate in continuous learning activities to sustain knowledge of the industry, management practices, and bank policies, procedures, and guidelines.5

What you'll need
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field.
  • Six years of experience in product development in banking, finance, and/or lending environments.
  • Strong understanding of accounting, NACHA rules, lockbox, sweeps, electronic funds transfer, digital banking, loan payments/advances, and cash services systems.
  • Certifications preferred: CSPO, SAFe POPM, PMP, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of product management principles and Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with integration patterns and cloud concepts.
