As a Senior Product Designer on our design team, you will be part of the Proposals product squad. You will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of the tools contractors use to win the job, often balancing competing goals of fidelity, release velocity, delight, and developer bandwidth.

You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create intuitive, user-centered designs that exceed customer expectations and drive business success. Our goal is to enable you to do the best design work of your career by providing agency as a designer to make critical product decisions.

• Own the end-to-end design process for the Proposals Squad while collaborating closely with product managers and engineers
• Work in an iterative design process: initiating UX research, prototyping, usability testing, incorporating internal+external feedback, and evaluating metrics when available
• Apply strategic thinking to product features, ensuring your design solutions align with company goals
• Contribute to the design team's culture through design jams, critiques, retrospectives, and cross-squad initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights to incorporate into your design solutions
• Advocate for our users. We are customer-obsessed, and every decision is made with our customers in mind
• Join a highly-skilled team of product designers that truly look out for one another, support each other, and help each other grow their design skillset

What you bring to the role:

• 4+ years of experience in supporting full product life cycles
• Ability to break down complex problems to create intuitive, delightful solutions
• Experience with user research methodologies and demonstrated ability to translate findings into actionable design insights
• Strong visual design skills with a keen eye for detail
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and advocate for your perspective
• Ability to collaborate across product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to align on goals and execution
• Comfortable integrating AI tools into your design process, from ideation and prototyping to research synthesis, to move faster without sacrificing craft
• Growth mindset. You continually seek opportunities to improve processes, tools, and techniques

Bonus Points:

• Experience designing for construction tech or related software
• History of designing in fast-paced startup environments
• Experience utilizing and contributing to design systems
• You're not afraid to take risks and lead by vocalizing support for innovative solutions that may not always be immediately obvious to stakeholders

Our compensation ranges are built using multiple market benchmarks and reflect both the scope of the role and current market data. While many hires fall within the beginning to midpoint of the band to allow for growth over time, we tailor offers based on each candidate's experience, seniority, and demonstrated impact.
