You will leverage your expertise in product development and optimization, supported by user research and customer feedback, to create innovative products and improve existing offerings — managing backlogs, writing epics and user stories, and collaborating with product and engineering partners across the payments organization.

Job responsibilities

  • Consider and plan for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
  • Write requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development in coordination with product managers, UX/CX designers, architects, and engineering partners
  • Collaborate with Agility Leads and scrum masters to facilitate successful Release Planning, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
  • Conduct pre-release reviews, including regression testing and quality assurance, to certify releases as production-ready along with production validation
  • Participate in production-ready go/no-go release decisions and production validation testing
  • Partner closely with product managers, developers, operations, and production support teams to research and resolve issues or defects that impact the customer experience

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3 years of experience or equivalent expertise in Agile product management, business analysis, or a related area
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, including discovery, requirements definition, writing stories with clearly defined "definition of done," use cases with clear acceptance criteria, and related technical details
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for engaging with both business and technical stakeholders and leadership
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze complex business processes
  • Understanding of development processes, application integration, database usage, and cloud-based microservices (e.g., Kafka, APIs)
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Microsoft Office tools, and Confluence

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience working in financial services, retail banking, or payments
