Full Job Description
Producer
  • 11693 SAN VICENTE BLVD #294, LOS ANGELES, CA, USA 90049
  • Salaried, full-time position

As Producer, you own the end-to-end production of high-impact marketing content, balancing creative ambition with timelines, budgets, and operational realities. You maintain a strong grasp of both the big picture and the details - anticipating risks, surfacing tradeoffs, and advocating for player value at every stage of production.

Given our working culture as a small team and wide scope as a multiplayer sandbox game, you will work closely with other project leads to find a strategy and approach that works within these constraints. We create room for solutions through focus (picking our battles) and greater openness to creative solutions. Your past experiences will be useful to draw from as a tool set of options, not to force as a playbook. Differences from similar roles at larger companies will be much less generic personnel management, and much more emphasis on strategic problem solving while tightly partnered with other game development disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster a cohesive, high-performing team environment where creative excellence and operational discipline meet. You'll drive delivery predictability, strengthen cross-team communication, and ensure that our team contributes effectively to the overall success of the project.
  • Drive operational excellence by designing and maintaining scalable production systems, workflows, and accountability rituals that enable sustainable and predictable delivery.
  • Cascade strategic direction to ensure clarity of outcomes, goals and dependencies to keep the team focused and coordinated.
  • Establish, track, and partner with the team to create long term goals, roadmaps for key pillars, project phases, and milestones.
  • Proactively identify project risks and partner with the team to find and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Manage day to day production to ensure sprints are running smoothly, including task tracking, reviews and cross team coordination.
  • Oversee cross-disciplinary coordination (art, design, engineering, QA, etc.) to ensure efficient collaboration and timely delivery of features, prototypes, and content.
  • Monitor production and collaboration health metrics, fostering transparency, alignment, and continuous improvement across all teams.

Required Qualifications
  • 8+years professional game development experience on at least 2 shipped AA+ games in a senior or lead role with at least 4 years in production.
  • Experienced with full cycle development (prototype, pre-production, production, etc.) and the unique needs of each of the various phases.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining schedules and collaborating with teams to reach goals and mitigation of scope to deliver an exceptional player experience.
  • Expert experience with tracking software for scrum/agile development and other project management methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success in improving delivery predictability, communication, and collaboration health.
  • Skilled in risk assessment, capacity planning, and driving accountability through structured processes.
  • Experience translating creative vision into execution frameworks, milestone plans, and deliverables.
  • Adaptability and context awareness in problem solving team production and collaboration challenges.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with a variety of development processes (agile, kanban, waterfall, etc)
  • Experience in art, animation, engineering, or design disciplines is a plus.
  • Onboarding, managing, producing external vendors and groups for outsourcing, localization, and testing
  • Experience with live service games.

Benefits & Perks

We offer medical, dental, and vision plans that cover you, your spouse/domestic partner, and children. Parental leave and a work-from-home equipment stipend is also available. Balance between work and personal life is encouraged with paid time off, seasonal company breaks, and we host weekly company play sessions so we can bond as a team as well as broaden and deepen our personal relationship(s) with games.
