Title: Senior. Procurement Analyst

Location: Alexandria, VA

US Citizenship Required: Yes

Clearance: Current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI w/CI polygraph

Summary:

The Senior Procurement Analyst plays a pivotal role in the strategic sourcing, evaluation, and execution of procurement activities for Invictus. This position is responsible for analyzing supply chain trends, conducting complex cost and price analyses, and managing the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for hardware, software, and complex services.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), ensuring that all procurement activities maintain strict compliance with internal policies and Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) standards. This role requires a data-driven professional who can optimize procurement costs while minimizing supply chain risks.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify, manage, escalate, and mitigate supply-based risks throughout the procurement life cycle in support of prime contract requirements, operational goals and business strategy by effectively partnering with other functional groups such as legal, contracts, compliance, risk management, finance, and others
  • Mentor and assist training a purchasing team and delegating tasks across departments when necessary
  • Maintaining relationships with suppliers while continually scouting for additional vendors
  • Develop procurement strategies that align with corporate objectives, program requirements, and customer expectations. Monitor supplier performance, delivery, quality, and compliance
  • Identify, assess, escalate, and mitigate supply chain risks throughout the procurement lifecycle
  • Create and issue requests for proposals and evaluate supplier proposals
  • Conduct pricing analysis and bill of materials
  • Review bills of materials and collaborate with technical teams to support hardware, software, and services acquisitions
  • Negotiate non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, license agreement, terms, and conditions


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with 5+ years of experience in a procurement role supporting government contracts
  • Experience with Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) audits
  • Proficient knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
  • Experience with evaluating requirements for hardware or software to support US DoD government client contracts preferred
  • Experience with ERP and procurement systems (Deltek Costpoint, Unanet, or similar) preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • US citizenship required
  • Current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI w/CI polygraph
