The Consumer Products Enablement and Solutions (CPES) team ensures Humana’s insurance products remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with consumer needs. Team members work closely with leaders across the enterprise, supporting timely regulatory and operational execution while partnering with key business units to support strategic direction for insurance products.
The Senior Process Improvement Professional is responsible for managing CPES operational processes and supporting the successful execution of key regulatory and operational initiatives. This role helps ensure work is completed on time, processes are clearly documented, stakeholders are aligned, and operational activities are carried out consistently across the organization.
This position partners closely with the Process Improvement Lead and Director for assigned processes. The role supports governance, issue resolution, implementation readiness, and ongoing process improvement across the department’s enterprise operational portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Lead progress and execution for assigned process improvements.
Coordinate day-to-day activities for assigned CPES workstreams, including tracking milestones, timelines, deliverables, and implementation activities.
Monitor progress against operational timelines and help ensure work is completed on schedule.
Create, maintain, and update standard operating procedures, process maps, operational documentation, governance materials, and document review artifacts.
Help ensure assigned processes are clear, current, consistently followed, and aligned with operational standards.
Partner with stakeholders across business areas to coordinate cross-functional deliverables and support alignment on assigned operational initiatives.
Support governance meetings and follow-up activities, including tracking decisions, risks, issues, and action items.
Facilitate clear communication across teams to support timely execution and stakeholder readiness.
Support operational readiness by preparing teams for implementation, monitoring required deliverables, identifying potential risks or gaps, and assisting with issue resolution and escalation as needed.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, strengthen standardization, and apply lessons learned and best practices across enterprise operations.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
3+ years of full-time work experience in operations, project coordination, process management, business execution, regulatory operations, healthcare operations, or a related field
Experience managing operational processes, workstreams, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder follow-up activities
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Demonstrated ability to create and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, process maps, or governance materials
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across cross-functional teams
Ability to identify risks, track issues, support resolution, and escalate concerns appropriately
Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational consistency and accuracy
Collaborative, flexible, and team-oriented working style
Preferred Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred, with demonstrated ability to apply process improvement methodologies to drive operational efficiency and measurable business outcomes
Background in supporting payor operations, with a focus on operational efficiency and process optimization
Experience supporting governance forums, executive reporting, operational readiness, or implementation planning.
Experience with process improvement, standardization, workflow documentation, or continuous improvement initiatives.
Familiarity with enterprise operations, product operations, compliance-driven processes, or annual product lifecycle activities.
Project management, process improvement, or healthcare-related certification.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$94,100 - $129,400 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
