Schneider Electric USA, Inc. seeks a Supply Chain Performance Expert in Franklin, TN.

Job Description: Standardize and deploy exemplary practices in Schneider Production System animation, continuous improvement, best practices deployment, and standards design. Train and coach teams to ensure sustainability and promoting the use of Smart and Digital solutions to support supply chain performance improvement. Challenge and optimize performance across multiple countries/regions within the supply chain. Standardize and deploy exemplary practices in Schneider Production Systems animation, continuous improvement, best practices deployment, and standards design. Promote and utilize necessary Smart and Digital solutions to support supply chain performance improvement. Identify and quantify potential opportunities for improvement in global supply chain performance. Optimize physical and information flows, surfaces, lead time, direct labor, equipment efficiency through lean diagnosis, DMAIC, Kaizen events, and Lean Office diagnosis. Support entities to achieve shared improvement roadmap with aggressive targets. Participate in decision-making processes for investments related to product introduction capacity. Eligible for remote work 2 days/ week. 25% travel required (5% international, 20% domestic) to manufacturing locations to train and lead manufacturing diagnostic and improvement events.

Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field, and 7 years of progressive, post-bachelor's experience in production management, continuous improvement engineering, or related occupation, which must include at least some experience in the following skills: Auditing Performance Systems to identify performance gaps in safety, quality, delivery, and productivity and support targeted improvements appropriate within the business context of the operation; Value Stream Mapping complex, engineered-to-order processes and identifying waste across multiple product families; Creating flexible standards for high-mix Engineered to Order environments without sacrificing efficiency; Designing dashboards and shop-floor visuals that work for low-volume, custom workflows; Reducing changeover times for diverse product configurations; Creating flow where traditional takt time is impractical; Applying Lean principles to minimize WIP and optimize material presentation for engineered products; Defining meaningful performance indicators for custom manufacturing (such as: lead time, or engineering cycle time) and linking waste elimination to measurable financial impact (including: ERP/MES integration, and digital dashboards for performance tracking in ETO environments); and Building Lean competency and driving cultural adoption of Lean across teams through structured programs focusing on high mix environments.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 168,800 - USD 253,200 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
