Get onboard the Collins Aerospace Operations and Supply Chain team and play a part in managing our innovative products from inception to delivery to end of life programs. As a Senior Commodity Manager for the Engineered Items commodity team within Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS), you will have the responsibility to lead supplier management, LTA negotiations, cost saving initiatives, and supplier performance.
What You Will Do:
Focus on working with various team members located at the different BUs to ensure data integrity from various systems.
Develop and execute standard cost reduction, contract negotiations, assertion resolution, including transition to production and for supply base transitions.
Support and ensure the team meets key performance indicators in terms of delivery, quality, cost, contract execution, and project management.
Direct interface with Senior Management within the Supply Chain Management functional organization and serves as the link between the various business units.
Negotiate with suppliers with complex relationships and obtain successful resolutions as defined by the Business Unit and Supply Chain Management.
Adhere to procurement manual guidelines and always exhibit ethical business behaviors.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 7 years97experience
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Engineering/Supply Chain/Manufacturing or related area
Direct experience supporting Aftermarket supply chain needs
Applied experience with CI/Lean or related methodologies
Experience with fabricated seals and thermal blankets
Qualifications We Prefer:
Master97s degree in a related field
Experience with database and supply chain management
Supplier engagement skills, including effective negotiation
Project or program management experience
Strong business judgment, cost awareness, and ability to lead in a collaborative team environment

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate 27s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
