Overview

As a Sr Principal, Finance Business Partner (Service Excellence), you will be responsible for providing strategic financial partnership to the Service Excellence team driving an EBIT improvement across four commercial divisions representing $1.7B in service revenue. This role requires deep expertise in service business finance, strong business case development capabilities, and proven experience partnering with transformation and operations leaders through complex organizational change including M&A integration. You will build and maintain proforma P&Ls, partner with initiative owners to develop and monitor business cases and financial impacts, design and track KPIs that measure value realization, and translate financial performance into strategic insights for executive leadership. This role partners with the Service Excellence team, service leadership across four commercial divisions, and cross-functional leaders in Finance, HR, Operations, Commercial Excellence, and IT to ensure initiatives are financially sound and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities
• Build and maintain proforma P&Ls for the divisional service businesses, providing financial visibility into the EBIT improvement target across revenue growth, margin expansion, and operational excellence initiatives
• Partner with initiative owners to develop robust business cases, define financial assumptions, quantify expected impacts, and establish tracking mechanisms to monitor value realization throughout initiative lifecycles
• Design, build, and monitor KPIs and financial metrics that measure initiative performance, identify variances from plan, and enable data-driven decision-making across the Service teams
• Provide strategic financial partnership to Service business leaders, translating financial data into actionable insights, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending course corrections to maximize EBIT impact
• Partner with service business unit finance teams to ensure alignment on proforma P&Ls, financial assumptions, validate initiative impacts, and coordinate reporting across four independent service organizations
• Support executive-level financial communications, translating complex financial performance, business case economics, and value capture progress into compelling narratives for CEO, SVP, CFO, and Board audiences
• Collaborate with Integration Office Finance and Business Planning leadership to ensure Service Excellence financial planning aligns with broader enterprise transformation objectives and integration milestones
• Identify financial risks and opportunities across the service business portfolio, providing early warning on initiatives at risk and highlighting opportunities to accelerate value capture

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline, MBA or CPA preferred
• 12+ years of experience in finance business partnering, FP&A, or financial analysis
• Demonstrated experience in service business finance with strong understanding of service P&L dynamics, margin drivers, and operational metrics
• Proven experience developing business cases, building financial models, and tracking value realization for transformation initiatives
• Experience supporting initiatives through M&A integration or complex organizational change
• Experience in global organizations with complex service delivery models across multiple business units
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with ability to translate complex financial data into strategic insights and executive-level communications
• Proven ability to partner effectively with non-finance leaders and operate through influence in cross-functional environments
• Strong business acumen with ability to connect financial performance to operational drivers and strategic priorities
• Experience with financial systems and reporting tools; advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities required
• Strong influencing skills, proven ability to work across organizational boundaries driving alignment across a global organization
