The Strategic Defense Solution (SDS) team is seeking a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team as a Cross Product Team Lead (CPTL).

The CPTL Electrical Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintenance of the program budget and schedule, as well as intensive coordination across stakeholders to meet the objectives of the program. The Lead Hardware Engineer will be involved in all phases of the product life including design, brainstorming sessions, supplier support, manufacturing support, and other sustaining activities.

What You Will Do:
• Lead the Hardware team interfacing directly with the Chief Engineers, Program Managers and other CPTL's to prioritize tasks, define scope and ensure technical goals are achieved.
• Take ownership of technical project execution through Design & Development activities into Production.
• Present project status to multiple levels of Leadership and the customer.
• Work as part of a cohesive team with Test Engineering, Product Engineering, System Engineering, Software Engineering, Program Management and Operations.
• Maintain and oversee Earned Value Management (EVM) as a Cost Account Manager (CAM).
• Breakdown Work Package and tasking for execution.

Qualifications You Must Have:
• Experience in Agile EVMS/CAM.
• Experience in Systems/Hardware Requirement/artifact breakdown.
• Technical Expertise in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.

• Previous professional experience using Windchill Common Product Data Management (PDM).
• Previous professional experience using Electrical Product development.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
