Senior Principal - AI and Data, Consumer Products, Retail and Logistics, Infosys Consulting Infosys Consulting is seeking an experienced
Senior Principal to drive strategic growth, executive client relationships, and business transformation programs across Consumer Products, Retail, and Logistics (CRL) clients. This role combines executive advisory, business development, industry expertise, and transformation leadership to help organizations accelerate growth, modernize operations, and realize measurable business value through AI, digital, data, supply chain, and enterprise platform transformation initiatives.
Strategic Focus Areas Senior Principals are expected to shape and lead client transformation initiatives across one or more of the following strategic domains:
- AI & Data Transformation: Unlock enterprise value through AI, Generative AI, advanced analytics, intelligent automation, modern data platforms, and data-driven decision making.
- Supply Chain & Operations Transformation: Improve end-to-end planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, inventory, fulfillment, and service operations through process transformation, advanced analytics, automation, and emerging technologies.
- Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Pricing & Commercial Excellence: Drive profitable growth through pricing strategy, trade promotion optimization, assortment and category management, revenue growth management, sales analytics, commercial effectiveness, and demand-driven decision making.
- Customer Experience & Digital Commerce: Transform customer engagement through omnichannel commerce, personalization, loyalty, marketing transformation, customer insights, and digital product innovation.
- Order-to-Cash & Enterprise Process Transformation: Modernize customer service, order management, fulfillment, accounts receivable, collections, deductions, returns management, and working capital processes to improve customer experience and operational performance.
- Enterprise Platform & ERP Transformation: Lead business-led ERP and enterprise platform transformations involving SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, and cloud ecosystems to improve agility, scalability, efficiency, and business performance.
- Industry Consulting & Business Value Realization: Partner with executive stakeholders to define business strategies, operating models, transformation roadmaps, governance structures, KPI frameworks, and value realization programs that maximize business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities - Drive account growth through proactive pitches, business case development, and account mining within existing and target clients, with a particular focus on expanding the process transformation and Data & AI portfolio
- Identify and originate new AI and data opportunities - including generative AI, agentic AI, advanced analytics, data platform modernization, and AI-enabled process transformation - translating client pain points into compelling, sellable solutions
- Sell and lead large-scale AI and data transformation programs, owning the end-to-end sales cycle from opportunity identification through contract close
- Partner with account teams and delivery leaders to build a robust AI/data pipeline, shaping deals early and positioning the firm as a strategic partner in the client's AI journey
- Develop and pitch points of view on emerging AI topics - generative and agentic AI, AI governance and responsible AI, data foundations for AI at scale - to open new conversations with clients and expand the art of the possible
- Serve as a trusted advisor to client executives, bringing deep expertise in AI strategy, data architecture, and AI-enabled operating model transformation to shape client strategy and investment priorities
- Lead and oversee delivery of complex, large-scale AI and data transformation programs, ensuring quality, timeliness, and value realization that supports account expansion and repeat business
- Build and maintain strong client relationships that create a pipeline of follow-on AI, business transformation and data work
- Shape point-of-view and thought leadership around Digital Business Transformation, AI-enabled Operations, and enterprise data strategy, with AI as a core growth pillar
- Mentor and develop consulting talent with AI/data expertise, building the bench strength needed to support a growing pipeline of work
Qualifications - 15+ years of consulting, advisory, or transformation leadership experience within Consumer Products, Retail, and/or Logistics industries.
- Demonstrated success in business development, executive relationship management, and delivery of large-scale transformation programs.
- Proven ability to advise C-suite stakeholders and lead complex business and technology initiatives.
- Deep expertise in one or more areas including AI & Data, Revenue Growth Management, Pricing & Promotion, Supply Chain, Order-to-Cash, Customer Experience, Digital Commerce, ERP, or Enterprise Transformation.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Willingness to travel as required by client engagements
Estimated annual compensation range for candidates based in US are as indicated below:
Min-$210,000 & max-$256,667
